Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is a renowned private law school chain with four campuses in India. Among them, SLS Hyderabad and SLS Noida are popular choices amongst legal aspirants. Both campuses offer programs like BA LLB, BBA LLB, and LLM. They follow a similar academic structure but differ in terms of location advantages, fee investment, and placement exposure. SLS Noida, being an older institution than SLS Hyderabad, has a strong placement record. However, the academic fee at Noida is comparatively higher. SLS Noida is considered a better law school than SLS Hyderabad in terms of location. Noida, being a part of Delhi NCR, has proximity to the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court, along with numerous Tier-1 law firms and corporate offices. It offers great networking opportunities and internship options. Candidates get better court exposure and can attend important hearings. Alumni networking opportunities are higher in Noida. Students also get the opportunity to attend legal conferences, guest lectures, and moot court competitions. Hyderabad is an emerging IT and corporate hub, with growing opportunities in corporate law and technology law.
Both SLS campuses offer quality legal education in India. However, based on the placement records, recruiters, competition, salary packages and exposure, SLS Noida is a preferred campus. SLS Hyderabad is a great alternative campus for students looking for legal education with a comparatively lower academic fee. Choosing between these two SLS is ultimately a personal choice of the candidate based on their preferences. They must weigh in all the factors before making an informed decision.
