Vinayaka Missions Law School (VMRF) opened the VLAT 2026 application form window. Eligible candidates can register and fill out the application form online on the official website for registrations - vmls.edu.in/vlat/register. Through the VLAT scores 2026, candidates can get admission into the 5-year integrated LLB and 3-year LLB programmes. The VLAT application fee is Rs. 1000 for the 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB and Rs 1500 for LLM for all candidates. At present, VMLS is being mentored by O.P. Jindal Global University (an Institution of Eminence) and Jindal Global Law School under an institutional mentorship agreement.
VMRF Law Aptitude Test, VLAT 2026 is an online AI proctored entrance exam conducted by the Vinayaka Mission Law School in multiple slots. Through the VLAT examination, candidates get admission to BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB and a 3-year LLB programme. The entrance test is designed to assess the students' reading and comprehension skills, reasoning, and critical thinking abilities. These skills are considered essential for the study of law. For a 5-year LLB course, the university conducts VLAT 5, whereas, VLAT 3 is conducted for admission to 3-year LLB programmes.

The exam pattern of VLAT 2026 follows the same structure for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programmes. The VLAT exam duration is 60 minutes and candidates are required to attempt 40 MCQ-based questions. The VLAT syllabus 2026 consists of two different sections on English comprehension and logical reasoning. Each question will carry one mark and there is no provision for negative marking in case of a wrong answer. However, candidates must attempt all the questions.

Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (VMRF) offers 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB integrated LLB courses through VLAT 2026. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria of VLAT 2026 for both programmes before filling out the application form. The course-wise eligibility criteria are given below.
The VLAT application form 2026 is currently open. Eligible candidates can submit the VLAT 2026 application online on the official website. The exam authorities have notified a separate VLAT 2026 application window for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes. The application fee for VLAT is Rs 1000 for all candidates.
For offline submission of the VLAT application form, candidates have to take the application form from the VMRF University Office and submit it along with the required documents and fees.
VLAT 2026 will be held online in AI-proctored mode. There will be multiple-choice type questions in VLAT 2026. The test duration will be 60 minutes and the medium of language will be bilingual including both English and Tamil. The VLAT 2026 will have logical reasoning and English comprehension sections.

VLAT result 2026 will be announced immediately after the completion of the exam. Candidates will be able to check the VLAT scorecard online from their registered account. The university may also send emails to the candidates informing them about the declaration of results.
Successful candidates will be invited for the further admission process that involves releasing the provisional admission letter and counselling. Meanwhile, the university also accepts valid scores of CLAT, AILET, MH CET Law, and NLSAT for admission to the law programmes.
