Vinayaka Missions Law School (VMRF) has released the application form for VLAT 2024. Eligible candidates can register and fill out the application form in online/offline modes. The official website for VLAT 2024 registration is vmls.edu.in/admissions. The university is offering 5-year integrated LLB and 3-year LLB programmes through VLAT scores. The VLAT application fee is Rs. 250 for all candidates.

VLAT (VMRF Law Aptitude Test) 2024

Vinayaka Mission Law school conducts the VMRF Law Aptitude Test in multiple slots. The entrance test is designed to test the reading and comprehension skills, reasoning and critical thinking ability of the students. These skills are considered essential for the study of law.

For 5-year LLB, the university conducts VLAT 5, whereas, VLAT 3 is conducted for admission to 3-year LLB programmes. Alternatively, candidates can also use the scores of CLAT, AILET, MH CET Law, NLSAT or LSAT India to get admission to law programmes at VMLS.

VLAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (VMRF) offers 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB integrated LLB courses. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The course-wise eligibility criteria are given below.

Five-year integrated law programme eligibility:

Candidates must have passed Class 12th from a recognized institute (Candidates appearing for April-May 2023 examinations can also apply.)
General category candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam, 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST.

VLAT 3-year LLB eligibility

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university.
Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply
Candidates must have secured at least 45% aggregate marks in graduation. 42% in the case of OBC candidates and 40% for SC/ST.

VLAT 2024 Application Process

VLAT application form is currently open. Eligible candidates can submit the VLAT 2024 application in both online and offline modes. The application fee is Rs. 250 for all candidates.

VLAT 2024 Exam Pattern

VLAT 2024 will be held online, in remote proctored mode. There will be multiple choice type questions in VLAT 2024. The test duration will be 60 minutes and the medium of language will be both English and Tamil.

VLAT 2024 Result

VLAT result 2024 will be announced soon after the exam. Candidates will be able to check the VLAT scorecard online from their registered account. The university may also send emails to the candidates informing them about the declaration of results.

Successful candidates will be invited for further admission process that involves releasing the provisional admission letter and counselling. Meanwhile, the university also accepts valid scores of CLAT, AILET, MH CET Law, and NLSAT for admission to the law programmes.
