CLAT 2027 is just two months away and might seem tough to crack. But then again, it can be done with a bit of planning and hard work, along with taking CLAT 2027 mock tests and analysing them regularly. As an aspiring candidate for the test, you shouldn’t waste time studying all subjects from scratch at this point in time. The priority should be finishing the crucial topics, brushing up on weak topics, going through current affairs, and increasing your speed and accuracy.

CLAT 2027 in 2 Months: Check Complete Preparation Plan & Timetable

CLAT 2027 is taken for admissions to undergraduate as well as postgraduate law courses provided by various National Law Universities. CLAT UG consists of five sections: English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.

Here is a detailed CLAT 2027 preparation strategy for two months along with timetable, targets, mock test strategy, and much more.

CLAT 2027 Preparation in 2 Months: Is It Possible?

Certainly, students can achieve a lot within two months with a proper preparation strategy. But the strategy needs to be totally different from the preparation strategy for a longer period.

The candidates need to revise, solve questions, study CLAT 2027 current affairs, and take mock tests instead of covering all the possible sources. The students who have studied the entire syllabus should give more time to solving and analysing, whereas the beginners need to first study the important topics of each section.

The main points that one needs to remember are:

    • Stick to a fixed daily routine.

    • Study current affairs daily.

    • Practice passage-based questions regularly.

    • Take mock tests and analyse the errors.

    • Revise the important topics again and again.

    • Do not use many sources for preparation.

CLAT 2027 Daily Time Table for the Last 2 Months

Students do not need an overly complex schedule in the last two months. Rather, what works well is a simple schedule that allocates time to each of the five subjects.

    8-Week CLAT 2027 Preparation Plan

Given below is the CLAT 2027 Week-wise preparation plan.

Weeks 1 and 2: Strengthen Your Basics

Start by doing one full-length mock test to gauge your present level and then analyse your strengths and weaknesses. Revising basic concepts and starting with practice of passages on a daily basis is essential.

    The following subjects need focus:

    • English comprehension passages

    • Legal reasoning passages

    • Logical reasoning concepts

    • Basic quantitative techniques

    • Current affairs monthly

    Approved by BCI

Don’t waste two weeks just on the theoretical portion; start solving questions as well.

Weeks 3 and 4: Increase Practice

During weeks three and four, move on to more problem solving.

Solve reading comprehension problems in English, Legal Reasoning, and Logical Reasoning. In Quantitative Techniques, concentrate on basic arithmetic and data analysis skills.

It would be best if candidates began taking sectional tests.

Take an error notebook and note down the mistakes you make.

Weeks 5 and 6: Focus on Mock Tests

Improvement in speed, accuracy and question selection should be made during weeks five and six.

Try taking 2–3 full tests in a week and then analyse them properly. Don’t just take note of your score after giving a test.

    Analyze:

    • What are the questions where you have lost marks?

    • What questions have taken a lot of time?

    • What are the topics that you are making mistakes in?

    • How many questions have you not attempted?

    • Are you making mistakes due to wrong guess or lack of knowledge?

Weeks 7 and 8: Final Revision

The last two weeks are meant for revision and practicing mocks only.

Do not begin any brand new books/resources. Do revision of your CA notes, key concepts, formulas and errors made during your test series.

    Subject-Wise CLAT 2027 Preparation Strategy

    English Language

Concentrate on reading comprehension and questions based on passages. You should practice finding the main idea, the tone of the author, making inferences, context vocabulary, and concluding.

The regular reading of newspapers, editorials, and quality articles can help in improving reading speed as well as reading comprehension.

    Current Affairs and General Knowledge

Current affairs need to be covered daily for the next two months.

    Prioritise:

    • Significant legal changes

    • Changes to the Supreme Court and Constitution

    • Government schemes and policies

    • National and international happenings

    • International organizations

    • Economics

    • Environment

    • Science and technology

    • Awards and appointments

    • Sports and other happenings

Don’t prepare long notes; just prepare short notes monthly and keep revising them.

    Legal Reasoning

Passages must be done consistently as part of Legal Reasoning. Carefully read the principle or information stated in the passage, and then apply that principle to the facts in the question.

One should not rely wholly on memorising laws. One needs to understand the passage and then apply the given principle.

    Logical Reasoning

Answer questions related to arguments, assumptions, conclusions, inference, cause and effect and strength/weakness of arguments, among other concepts of critical reasoning.

Attempt solving the passage within a fixed time frame to enhance your speed.

    Quantitative Techniques

Students need to revise their basics of mathematics and practice questions.

    Important topics are:

    • Percentages

    • Ratio & Proportion

    • Averages

    • Profit & Loss

    • Simple and Compound Interest

    • Time & Work

    • Time, Speed and Distance

    • Basics of Algebra

    • Interpretation of Data

The goal should be to solve known questions rather than wasting time on hard questions.

    CLAT 2027 Mock Test Strategy

Mock tests are considered one of the most crucial components in the final two months of preparation. Candidates need to increase the frequency of taking complete mocks as the date of examination comes closer.

An effective target can be to take about 12 to 15 full mocks in the final two months, along with sectional mocks.

But the number of mocks is not all that counts. Mock analysis is equally important.

It is necessary to find out the mistakes, time-consuming questions, and weak topics after each mock and revise them before attempting the next one.

    CLAT 2027 Time Management Tips

CLAT preparation in the last two months should also include the completion of the paper within the allocated time frame.

    This can be achieved by:

    • Practising with a timer.

    • Not taking too much time to solve one question.

    • Skipping questions that seem difficult at first.

    • Figuring out the sequence of sections that suits them.

    • Reserving some time for revision of marked questions.

    • Working on speed and accuracy together.

Students should implement their time management plan through mock tests rather than using it for the very first time on the examination day.

Common Mistakes to Avoid in the Last Two Months

The candidate must refrain from doing the following:

    • Neglecting current affairs: Never keep current affairs for last-minute preparations.
    • Using too many sources: One needs to restrict oneself to limited and dependable sources.
    • Going for mocks without learning from them: Each mock must serve a purpose; one must learn something out of each mock.
    • Neglecting difficult sections: Difficult sections require extra attention for improvement of accuracy in those sections.
    • Lack of revision: Revision is a must since the newly acquired information is easy to forget.
    • Obsessing about each mock result: The emphasis must be on improving accuracy, speed, and consistency.

    Final 2-Month CLAT 2027 Checklist

Before starting the last week, the candidates must ensure that they have:

    • Revised the key concepts in all five sections.

    • Studied current affairs.

    • Solved a sufficient number of passage-based questions.

    • Attempted several full mock tests.

    • Analyzed their errors.

    • Made short notes for revision.

    • Revised the important Quantitative Techniques formulae.

    • Understood their strong and weak sections.

    • Formulated the mock test strategy.

CLAT 2027 Preparation in 2 Months: Final Tips

Though two months might look like a short time span, the proper approach can make these last two months of preparation useful.

Candidates must avoid panicking and focus on making steady progress each day.

This last stage of preparation will require just a straightforward process – learn, practice, attempt tests, analyse, and revise.

Candidates shouldn’t try to complete all the books that come their way. They should rather strengthen their strong topics, work on their weaker topics, and practice under time constraints.

The most essential thing is to be consistent throughout this last period. A realistic schedule, mock tests, revision of current affairs, and proper analysis can enable candidates to face the CLAT 2027 examination confidently.
