    CULET 2026 Exam Analysis

In the CULET 2026 examination, there were questions that made the candidates go through various areas of Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Constitution of India, Human Rights, Sports, Geography, and Law. From the questions that we have, it can be said that the paper was concerned with both Static GK as well as the latest national & international events.

    CULET 2026 Subject-Wise Analysis

Given below is the CULET 2026 subject-wise exam analysis:

    1. Current Affairs - Most Important Topic

There was a heavy presence of current affairs questions. For example, candidates were expected to know about the brand ambassador of Dettol and the chief guests of India’s 77th Republic Day celebrations. As per these questions, aspirants need to focus on preparing the most important national events, appointments, personalities, awards, international relations and important developments of the past few months before the exam.

    2. Indian Polity and Constitution

Basic knowledge of the Indian Constitution was examined through questions based on the 42nd and 44th Constitutional Amendments. These questions directly covered some important Constitutional amendments like the 42nd Amendment of the Constitution called the “Mini Constitution” and the 44th Amendment, which reversed many of the emergency-era changes.

    3. Human Rights

Human rights is yet another important topic. Questions on the basic concepts of human rights and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) have been asked. Thus, candidates are required to be acquainted with important international human rights documents, dates, concepts and institutions.

    4. General Knowledge

Apart from these topics, there were some conventional static GK questions. The full form of FIFA and the highest waterfall in India are examples of such questions, which can easily be solved by general awareness.

    5. Legal Awareness

The problem based on the Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act, 1956 was a case where the candidate had to remember a certain statutory provision. This was different from the other GK questions since there was a need to understand a statute.

    CULET 2026: Overall Exam Analysis

Most of the CULET 2026 questions did not require much thought or application of legal knowledge. The questions were more on memory, awareness and basic understanding skills than analytical skills. Students well versed with current affairs and basics of the Constitution, legal awareness, human rights, geography and sports would have fared better.
