The official notification for the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Entry Scheme 36th Course will be released soon at joinindianarmy.nic.in. The selection process for the JAG recruitment 36th course does not involve a written examination. Instead, the selection process for the Indian Army JAG 36 is divided into three stages: shortlisting of candidates, SSB interview, and medical examination. Candidates who have completed their LLB degree along with CLAT PG 2025 scores are eligible to apply. Unmarried male and female law graduates can submit the online application for a grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army for the Judge Advocate General Branch. Previously, the Indian Army opened the application for the JAG entry scheme 35th course on October 30, 2024. The dates for SSB will be tentatively in May/ June 2025. The application form for Indian Army JAG 36 Entry Scheme will be available on the official website. Eligible candidates who are eager to join the Indian Army as Judge Advocate General can follow the steps below to apply:
Step 1: Visit the official website and navigate to the JAG 36 registration page.
Step 2: If you’re a new user, click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and then ‘Registration’. Fill in details like Aadhaar number, name, date of birth, email, and mobile number. If already registered, log in with your credentials.
Step 3: Navigate to the JAG 36th course application link. Enter personal, educational, and other required details, including your CLAT PG 2025 score (mandatory for JAG 36th Course).
Step 4: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, LLB degree certificate, CLAT PG 2025 scorecard, and other required documents as specified in the notification.
Step 5: Review the JAG 36 application, submit it, and take a printout of the final form for future reference.

The selection process for the Indian Army JAG 36th Entry Scheme 2025 involves multiple stages. Below is a concise overview of the JAG 36 selection process:
The Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army) will shortlist candidates based on their CLAT PG 2025 scores.
All applicants for SSC (JAG) entry, both men and women, must register and take the CLAT (PG) exam from the previous year.
The CLAT PG 2025 exam took place on December 1, 2024.
Only eligible shortlisted candidates will participate in SSB interviews at selection centres in Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bangalore (Karnataka), or Kapurthala (Punjab).
A call-up letter for the SSB interview will be sent via email and SMS to the candidate’s registered contact details by the respective selection centre.
Candidates will undergo a two-stage selection process. Those who pass Stage I will proceed to Stage II, while those who fail Stage I will be sent back on the same day. The duration of the SSB interview is five days.
Candidates recommended by the SSB and found medically fit will receive a joining letter for training based on merit, depending on the availability of vacancies and fulfilment of all eligibility requirements.
A final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidate at the SSB interview.
Those included in the merit list and who come within the stipulated vacancies and are medically fit will be issued joining letters for Pre-Commissioning training at OTA, Chennai, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

The application window for the JAG 35th course opened on October 30, 2024 and closed on November 28, 2024.
The Indian Army will issue the Indian Army JAG 36 admit card 2025 for the candidates who have been shortlisted for the SSB Interview round under the Indian Army JAG 36 Entry Scheme.
