MH CET 5-year LLB web options 2025: Rank-wise colleges with percentile cut-offs
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has started the Common Admission Process (CAP) for 5-year LLB. The web option round has been initiated as the final merit list was published on July 30. Candidates included in the MS, OMS and J&K category merit lists are required to give the college preferences from the available 157 colleges.
The CET Cell conducts the counselling in three rounds, followed by an institute round of admission. The web-option entry allowed at the first instance will remain valid for two rounds. The third round and the institute round are conducted with a fresh web-option entry system.
Since the allocation of seats depends on the college preference and merit rank of the candidates, creating the right preference order becomes utmost important. There are law colleges based in Maharashtra and Pune that are highly preferred by students and should be given higher preference in the list. GLC Mumbai, ILS Pune, Mumbai University, DES Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune are some examples where admissions are highly competitive due to their academic standards, better opportunities and location. These should be given priority over others. Identifying and choosing the top law colleges and creating a college preference list from 157 approved colleges can be tricky. Therefore, we have provided a list of colleges that students should consider while exercising the web options. Check the rank-wise list of such colleges below, along with the percentile cutoffs in the table given below.
