SLAT 2026 Exam Dates

The SIU will conduct SLAT 2026 in two phases. The SLAT exam 2026 dates for the first and second phases will be on December 20, 2025 (SLAT 01) and December 28, 2025 (SLAT 02). All the SLAT important dates 2026 are given in the table below.

SLAT 2026 Registration Dates

The SIU has started the SLAT 2026 registration process on August 1, 2025. The SLAT application form 2026 can be submitted online on the official website: slat-test.org. The deadline to submit the SLAT 2026 application form was November 30, 2025. SLAT registration fee is Rs. 2,250 for all candidates. The payment of the SLAT application fee can be done in both online and offline modes. Additionally, candidates also have to pay the programme registration fee of Rs. 1000 for each programme at the SLS in which they wish to seek admission.

SLAT Admit Card Dates 2026

The university has issued the SLAT 2026 admit card on December 11, 2025 for Phase 1. It will issue the phase two admit card on December 18, 2025. The admit cards for both phases will be active on the official SLAT examination portal: slat-test.org. The SLAT 2026 admit card mentions the roll number of the candidate, exam timings, exam centre name and address, along with instructions to be followed by the candidate on the exam day. It is a mandatory document for appearing in the SLAT exam 2026.

SLAT Exam Dates 2026

The university will conduct the SLAT 2026 exam in two phases. The SLAT 2026 Phase 1 will be conducted on December 20, 2025, while the SLAT 2026 Phase 2 will be conducted on December 28, 2025. Candidates will have the option to register and appear for one or both phases of the exam. The SLAT 2026 exam will be conducted in online mode at specified SLAT test centres across the country. Candidates can find their test centre address and exam timings on their admit cards. The exam is conducted for 1 hour. There are 60 questions on various topics as mentioned in the SLAT syllabus. SIU will announce the SLAT 2026 results on January 15, 2026, for both phases. The result of SLAT 2026 will be declared online at slat-test.org. Candidates can use their login credentials to download the SLAT result 2026. It mentions their overall score, rank, provisional qualification status for the next round and various other details. The SLAT 2026 scorecard will be used by four law schools for admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes.

SLAT 2026 PI Round

The law schools participating in SLAT 2026 will conduct the PI rounds separately. The SLAT dates for the PI round will be announced after the declaration of the results by each law school on its official website. The Written Ability Test (WAT) has been removed from the SLAT selection process. Candidates can appear for the PI round only for the SLS and for the programme for which they have paid the programme registration fee. The PI round holds 30% weightage in the SLAT selection process. The PI round will test the personality and interests of the candidates and their suitability to pursue a law course.
