Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University has notified the TNDALU 2025 counselling schedule for 5-year LLB on its official website - tndalu.ac.in. The TNDALU 5-year LLB seat allotment for affiliated colleges for the first round counselling has been published on June 18, 2025 at 6 pm. The university will conduct TNDALU 2025 counselling separately for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB with a different schedule. The TNDALU 2025 seat allotment will be done based on marks obtained by the candidates in their qualifying exam. The university conducts law admissions without entrance exams. Through TNDALU 2025 admission process, candidates will be admitted into 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM programmes at SOEL and affiliated colleges. There are around 4000 seats available in the TNDALU counselling process across the law programmes. Only those candidates who clear the TNDALU 2025 cut-off for each round of counselling will be able to gain admission.

TNDALU 5-year LLB Counselling: The university has notified the first round TNDALU 5-year LLB round 1 counselling schedule on June 10, 2025. Candidates are required to complete document verification between June 11-15, 2025. The seat allotment for SOEL for the first round of TNDALU counselling has been published on June 17. Candidates can check the seat allotment through their login. The TNDALU 2025 round 1 seat allotment for affiliated colleges has been published on June 18, 2025. The allotted candidates are then required to report to the colleges between June 23-25, 2025.
TNDALU 3-year LLB Counselling: The university is expected to start the TNDALU 3-year LLB counselling will be notified tentatively in July 2025 after the closure of the application window.

As outlined above, candidates can gain admission into 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM programmes through the TNDALU admission 2025-26 process. While the School of Excellence in Law (SOEL) offers all three programmes, the affiliated colleges offer 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses.
