Shortlisted candidates whose name is included in the TNDALU 3-year LLB merit list 2025 will have to get their original documents verified before August 18 for Affiliated Colleges and August 19, 2025 for SOEL. The university will release a separate merit list of TNDALU 2025 for SOEL and affiliated colleges. Through TNDALU 2025 admissions, candidates can get admission into 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB, and LLM programs. The TNDALU 2025 rank list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination. For this, the candidate has to submit the mark details at the time of filling up the TNDALU application form 2025. While doing so, candidates must know two types of percentages, namely, the eligibility percentage and rank percentage. The candidates will be ranked as per the rank percentage in the TNDALU merit list 2025.
Eligibility Percentage: The overall marks obtained by the applicant in all subjects shall be considered for eligibility Percentage.
Rank Percentage - For rank percentage, the marks obtained in Part III Subjects (Major/Allied) excluding language subjects shall be considered. However, for candidates who have completed literature like B.A. (Tamil, English, Hindi, French etc.) the overall marks obtained in all the subjects will be considered for both rank as well as eligibility.

If the rank percentage marks obtained by two or more candidates are the same, then the following tie-breaker rule would be applied to prepare the TNDALU 2025 rank list.
Age will be considered and older candidates will be ranked higher.

Given below are some of the important points regarding the TNDALU 2025 merit list that all candidates must be aware of:
The marks obtained by the candidate in the first attempt alone will be considered. The marks obtained in the improvement exam will not be considered.
The TNDALU 2025 rank list and the cut-off marks will be determined based on the data submitted by the applicants in their respective applications.
In cases where grades are provided, the applicant must submit the equivalent conversion of marks from the University/College concerned. Failure to submit the exact marks would result in the university considering the lowest mark for the concerned grade for calculating eligibility and ranking.
The TNDALU 2025 merit list is provisional. After preparing the merit list, the university will invite the shortlisted candidates to participate in TNDALU 2025 counselling. The TNDALU merit list 2025 will be published in multiple rounds. For each round, the university would also publish the TNDALU cut-off 2025.
The TNDALU counselling will be done in online mode. Candidates are required to submit a scanned copy of the required documents for scrutiny by the authorities. Allotments will be made based on the rank and preference of the candidates. Candidates are then required to report to the allotted college in person.
