The TamilNadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University has released the TNDALU LLM 2024 merit list on August 21, 2024. Candidates can download the TNDALU 2024 merit list from the official website - tndalu.ac.in. The direct link to download the merit list is also provided below. The TNDALU LLM 2024 rank list includes details such as application number, rank percentage and status. The university had earlier published the TNDALU 5-year LLB merit list 2024 on June 7, 2024. The university released a separate TNDALU merit list 2024 for SOEL and affiliated colleges. Candidates who are shortlisted in the TNDALU 2024 rank list will be able to participate in the TNDALU 2024 counselling process.

Through TNDALU counselling 2024 process, candidates will be able to get admission into 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM programmes. Earlier, the university published the TNDALU 5-year LLB cut-off on its official website on June 6, 2024, for the School of Excellence in Law (SOEL) and affiliated colleges. The TNDALU 2024 admissions would be done based on marks obtained by the applicants in the qualifying exam. The university conducts law admissions without entrance exams based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University will publish the merit list in multiple rounds after the closure of the TNDALU 2024 application form window. There is no entrance exam.

The TNDALU 2024 rank list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination. For this the candidate has to submit the marks details at the time of filling up the TNDALU application form 2024. While doing so, candidates must know two types of marks percentages namely eligibility percentage and rank percentage. The candidates will be ranked as per the rank percentage in the TNDALU merit list 2024.
Eligibility Percentage: For eligibility Percentage - the overall marks obtained by the applicant in all the subjects together shall be considered.
Rank Percentage - For rank percentage, the marks obtained in Part III Subjects (Major/Allied) excluding language subjects shall be considered. However, for candidates who have completed literature like B.A. (Tamil, English, Hindi, French etc.) the overall marks obtained in all the subjects will be considered for both rank as well as eligibility.

If the rank percentage marks obtained by two or more candidates are the same then the following tie breaker rule would be applied to prepare the TNDALU 2024 rank list.
Age will be considered and older candidates would be ranked higher.
If the tie persists lots would be drawn to rank the candidate.

The marks obtained by the candidate in the first attempt alone will be considered. The marks obtained in the improvement exam will not be considered.
The TNDALU 2024 rank list and the cut-Off Marks will be determined based on the data submitted by the applicants in their respective applications.
In cases where grades are provided, it is the applicant’s responsibility to submit the equivalent conversion of marks from the University/College concerned. Failure to submit the exact marks would result in the university considering the least mark for the concerned grade for calculating eligibility and ranking.
The TNDALU 2024 merit list is provisional. After the preparation of the merit list, the university would invite the shortlisted candidates to participate in TNDALU 2024 counselling. The TNDALU merit list 2024 would be published in multiple rounds. For each round, the university would also publish the TNDALU cut off 2024.
The TNDALU counselling will be done in online mode. Candidates are required to submit a scanned copy of the required documents for scrutiny by the authorities. Allotments will be made based on the rank and preference of the candidates. Candidates are then required to report to the allotted college in person.
