Amity University-Noida Law Admissions 2026
Among top 100 Universities Globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2026
A good score in MH CET law 3-year LLB is expected to reach approximately 80%, or roughly 100+ marks. In this MH CET Law 2026 revised pattern, a good score will be significantly higher than in previous years. This change occurs because the total marks have been dropped from 150 to 120. Previously, a score of 99+ out of 150 (about 66%) was considered competitive. Now, students solve fewer questions within the same 120-minute exam duration. This format will likely increase the MH CET LLB cut-offs.
To secure a seat in top colleges like GLC Mumbai or ILS Pune, candidates generally need a 99+ percentile. The competition is high, especially for Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) students who have fewer reserved seats. On the other hand, categories like EWS and ST often have much lower cut-offs in colleges like DY Patil Law College. Since the exam is held across different shifts, the normalisation process will be used to ensure fair evaluation.
Colleges | Open Gen OMS | Open Gen MS | OBC Gen MS | EWS Gen MS | SC Gen MS | ST Gen MS |

ILS Law College Pune | 99+ | 99+ | 96+ | 94+ | 96+ | 77+ |
DES Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College Pune | 97+ | 97+ | 94+ | 90+ | 93+ | 62+ |
DY Patil Law College, Pune | 91+ | 93+ | 87+ | 75+ | 86+ | 57+ |
94+ | 92+ | 62+ | 20+ | 78+ | 12+ |
Given below are several factors that determine a good score in MH CET Law 2026 for the revised exam pattern:
The total number of candidates appearing for the test.
The overall difficulty level of the MH CET Law 2026 examination.
The total number of seats offered by the law colleges (around 16,000 seats across Maharashtra).
The normalisation process being implemented by the State CET Cell across multiple shifts.
Number of students applying for admission to counselling.
