Hi Pranjal, Congratulations on securing AIR 34 in AILET 2025!
I was expecting a good rank in AILET after giving the paper but I was also apprehensive because the AILET provisional answer key had a few errors which were causing a dip in my marks leading to a decrease in my rank, but thankfully, the errors were fixed.
I scored 121.25 marks overall(out of 150), scoring 42.5 in English(out of 50), 21.25 in GK(out of 30) and 57.5 in Logical Reasoning(out of 70)
education?
I originally hail from UP but have been living in West Bengal since the beginning due to my father’s job. I am a class 12 student of the Humanities stream studying at Don Bosco School in Kolkata and my family includes my mother, my father, and an elder sister.
After my class 10 board exams, I was exploring options to see what field i could do a job in the future as science was clearly not my cup of tea, that's when I came across law and I felt this was something that thrilled me and could become my calling. Also, it helped to have an elder sibling do her LLB degree at the time.
The major difference between CLAT and AILET is the extra 30 questions that AILET tests a candidate on. So, I knew that if I am able to increase my speed and comprehension ability, I would gain an advantage over all those candidates who were unable to attempt all the questions. I therefore went about practising many questions of Analytical Reasoning to gain that edge in the exams and also to save time while attempting the questions in the exam. It worked as I was able to attempt all the questions in AILET which increased my margin for error.
No, there was no fixed timetable that I followed, I had targets that I needed to complete every day and I went about my day with the plan of completing those targets. I took breaks whenever needed and also took time out to complete other activities(mainly school).
The classes I undertook at my coaching institute(Dozen) under my teacher Rajneesh Singh sir were a massive help in my preparation. Apart from that, there were no set books/resources that I referred to. I continuously practiced and gave mocks from various different sources as advised by my teachers.
Yes, I appeared for CLAT 2025 and secured a rank of 793 with a score of 87.25(out of 120).
There is a very good chance that I will get into NUJS, Kolkata through my CLAT result and hence, I will be deciding between NLU Delhi and NUJS after talking to my family and my teachers.
I am an avid follower of sports in general and football in particular. My main hobbies, therefore, include playing football with my friends and watching games of my favourite sports club(Liverpool). Other than that, I love reading suspense thriller books whenever I have time.
My main message to future law aspirants would be to take mock tests very seriously and to never compromise on their analysis. They are the single most important resource for an aspirant and prepare them for all kinds of exams. Other than that, it is always important that a person stays patient and calm even when things don’t go their way. Just keep working hard and things will fall into place.

With a score of 121 marks and an AIR of around 1000 in AILET 2026, getting admission to NLU Delhi for the BA LL.B (Hons.) program is not possible under the general admission process. NLU Delhi admits students strictly based on AILET rank, and the closing ranks are usually within
A score of 121 marks in AILET 2026 is a good score, but admission to an NLU depends primarily on your All India Rank, not just marks. With an AIR of around 1000, admission to NLU Delhi is highly unlikely under the general category.
NLU Delhi has:
Very limited seats
Hello,
Yes, scoring 94.75 in AILET 2026 as an ST candidate gives you very strong chances for admission to NLU Delhi, potentially even a high rank, as expected cutoffs for ST are much lower (around 60-70 marks), but your score puts you in a highly competitive bracket.
I hope it
Hello aspirant ,
With an AILET rank of 16168 and a CLAT rank of 49000 , getting admission in NLUs is not possible. However, many private law colleges accept students based on CLAT or AILET rank without conducting their own entrance test . Colleges like UPES Dehradun ,AMITY law school
Hello,
If your CLAT score is low but you scored 84 in AILET , you still have good chances at some law colleges, especially those that accept AILET scores or other entrance exams. Here’s a simple breakdown:
