BLAT Exam Pattern 2019: Overview
The candidates must keep in mind that there shall be negative marking for every answers that are incorrect. This is applicable for all the courses and candidates appearing in the BLAT entrance exam 2019. Although, three marks shall be awarded for the answers that are correct. No marks will be given to the unattempted questions.
The candidates shall be selected in order of the merit on the basis of aggregate marks secured in the BLAT 2019 entrance exam. The University, further, reserves all the rights to fix minimum marks for all the courses and/or categories.
There are twenty cities that will be allotted for BHU BA LLB entrance exam which includes cities like Varanasi, Mirzapur, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Patna, Ranchi, Bhopal, Vadodara, Guwahati, Dimapur, Kochi, Jaipur, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Jhansi, Raipur. The candidate is suggested to keep all the documents in hand, without which he/ she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. The candidate is advised to reach half an hour before the commencement of BLAT 2019 exam to avoid any last minute delays.
Exam Mode: BLAT 2019 will be conducted in an offline mode where the candidates will be required to attempt the examination in a pen and paper mode. The university has announced there will be twenty centres for the exam.
Exam Duration: The candidates applying for 2019 entrance exam 2019 will be given a total of 120 minutes, 2 hours to complete the law examination.
Type and number of questions: The candidates appearing for BLAT 2019 will be tested on different topics such as General Awareness and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Mental Ability and English Comprehension. There will be a total of 150 questions which will be multiple choice questions.
Maximum Marks: The candidates will be marked out of 450 marks in BLAT 2019.
General Awareness and Current Affairs
Marking scheme: The aspirants applying for BLAT 2019 entrance test will be marked negatively for every wrong answer. Every incorrect answer will take away one mark from the total marks obtained. Although, they will be awarded 3 marks for one correct answer. For every unanswered question, the candidate will bag no marks.
Methods to attempt BLAT 2019
1. In the examination hall, the candidates will be provided the question booklet and an answer sheet to complete their exams.
2. Before starting with writing the answers, the candidates applying for BLAT 2019 will be require to read the whole information provided at the back of the answer booklet. The information includes the correct way to fill one’s personal details.
3. The candidates will be given answer sheets during the examination. The candidates will be asked to fill their roll number, their question paper number, Set number in the space provided on the answer sheet only.
4.Since the type of the questions will be MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions), the candidates will be needed to mark the correction in front of the correct question number. They are suggested to answer by darkening the appropriate oval in the answer sheet with blue/black pen only.
5. According to the BLAT 2019 Exam Pattern, the answers which are wrongly darkened will be treated as an incorrect answer. The candidates should properly read the instructions on how to answer correctly at the back of their respective answer sheets. Any other way of marking the answer like tick marks, cross or lines will not be evaluated.
BLAT Exam Pattern 2019: Rules to follow
1. The candidates are suggested to keep two copies of their admit cards and keep it with them on the day of BLAT exam paper 2019 to avoid any problem.
2. Carrying any mechanical gadgets like mobile phones, calculator, smart watches etc. will not be allowed inside the examination hall.
3. Any candidate who gets caught cheating will be disqualified for giving the BLAt 2019 exam.
4. The candidates are suggested to fill the answers correctly, at the right place for the correct evaluation of their answer sheets.
