Why Are AIBE 21 Results Withheld for Candidates?

The AIBE 21 results can be withheld for multiple reasons; however, the main reason is a missing or discrepant state bar enrollment certificate. Here are some reasons why candidates see AIBE 21 results withheld on their scorecard:

    • Missing or Unclear State Bar Enrollment Certificate: The most common reason AIBE 21 results are withheld is a missing or unclear state bar enrollment certificate. Such candidates will see an option of ‘upload enrollment certificate’. Not only a missing certificate, but candidates’ AIBE 21 results can be withheld if the state bar enrollment uploaded by the candidate is unclear.

    • Pending Verification of Enrollment Details: In case the BCI is unable to verify the state bar enrollment details given by candidates, their AIBE 21 result will be withheld. Candidates must upload the correct enrollment certificate and furnish accurate details.

    • Mismatch in Candidate Details: Another reason the AIBE 21 results of candidates are withheld is due to a mismatch in details. Sometimes candidates make minor mistakes, like the spelling of their name is different from what was given in the application form. Sometimes, candidates enter the wrong roll number. Such little mistakes might lead to withholding of AIBE 21 results.

    • Malpractice During the Exam: The Bar Council of India has withheld the AIBE 21 results of 20 candidates, citing that they used malpractice. Candidates who were found to be using unfair means during the exam will not get their AIBE 21 results.

What to Do If Your AIBE 21 Result Is Withheld

Candidates whose AIBE 21 result is withheld should not stress out, as there are redressal methods for each of the issues mentioned above. Here are some of the ways candidates can resolve their AIBE 21 withheld issues through the following measures:

Upload your State Bar Council Enrollment Certificate

The most common reason for AIBE 21 results being withheld is a missing or unclear State Bar Council enrollment certificate. Such candidates must log in to the candidate portal or result portal and upload their enrollment certificate. In the scorecard portal too, candidates will see an option to “upload enrollment certificate”. Candidates must make sure that they upload a scanned copy of the original State Bar enrollment certificate. Also, candidates must upload their advocate ID card if available. The BCI will then review the newly uploaded certificate, and once the documents are verified, the AIBE 21 result will be declared. Candidates have reported fast timelines for this process, with some receiving results even half an hour after uploading their state bar enrollment certificates.

Undertaking Candidates Must Upload All Required Documents

Not just the bar enrollment certificate; the AIBE 21 results can be withheld due to missing supporting documents. For example, undertaking candidates also have requirements in terms of eligibility, and if they have not uploaded supporting documents, their AIBE 21 results are withheld. Below are the category-wise documents that candidates must upload:
