The Chhattisgarh judiciary mains 2026 syllabus and exam pattern have been revised by the Chhattisgarh government. The Chhattisgarh judiciary mains exam will have four descriptive papers carrying a total of 400 marks. The four papers are civil law, criminal law, language, social and legal perspective and translation, and judgment writing. Each paper will be of three hours' duration. The number of candidates called for the Chhattisgarh judicial civil judge mains exam is 10 times the number of vacancies from among candidates appearing in the prelims exam.

Chhattisgarh judiciary mains exam 2026 consists of four descriptive papers. Each paper carries 100 marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for mains in the ratio of 1:10 based on their performance in the preliminary examination and the number of vacancies.

The amendment has increased the Chhattisgarh judiciary interview marks from 15 to 25.
The selection structure will include the 400-mark mains examination followed by a 25-mark interview round (viva voce).
