According to the latest CLAT notification, the consortium of NLUs has decided to remove two test centre cities for CLAT 2027. The notification informs that Vellore and Tiruvarur test cities will not be included in the list of CLAT exam centres. Candidates who selected Vellore or Tiruvarur as their preferred test centre are requested to change their exam city preference. The last date to update the alternative test centre city for CLAT 2027 is October 31, 2026.

The CLAT 2027 is scheduled to be held on December 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the designated examination centres across India. According to this latest notification, the exam will be held at around 131 centres in 89 cities spread across 27 states. In case candidates still face any difficulty in updating their CLAT 2027 test city, they must contact the helpdesk for queries or assistance
Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to update their CLAT 2027 test centre:
Log in to the CLAT 2027 account
Click on the “Edit Application Form” button
Select the “Test Centre Preference” tab
Now choose the preferred test centre city for CLAT 2027 from the list
Click on the “Save/Submit” button to make the changes.

Valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID
Self-health declaration
Ballpoint pen and pencil
Transparent water bottle
