The registration window for the TS LAWCET 2026 has officially opened on February 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM. This application is a mandatory digital process conducted on the official TGCHE portal (lawcet.tgche.ac.in). Applicants must pay the registration fee before filling out the detailed application form. The Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 2026 is the primary state-level examination for students pursuing 3-year and 5-year undergraduate law degrees. Osmania University manages the examination under the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE). The entrance exam is scheduled to take place on May 18, 2026, in a computer-based testing (CBT) format.

Steps to Fill Out the TS LAWCET 2026 Application Form
Candidates must navigate the TGCHE portal to fill out the TS LAWCET registration form 2026:
Visit the TGCHE website and pay the registration fee via TS online centres or digital payment gateways (debit/credit card).
Verify that the transaction is successful to obtain the payment reference ID.
Fill in personal details, academic history, and local area status. Ensure the candidate’s name matches the SSC certificate.
Attach the scanned photograph and signature according to the preferred size (50KB for photos, 30KB for signatures).
Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for the counselling phase.

Study or residence certificate for proof of local status
Local status proof (study certificates from class 6 to the qualifying degree to claim the 85% local quota)
Aadhaar card
Transfer Certificate (TC)
Caste certificate issued by MRO or any competent authority (for SC/ST/BC applicants)
Income certificate (if applying for fee reimbursement)
Special category certificates (for NCC, CAP, Sports, or PH quotas)
Passport-size photograph (size < 50 KB) and signature (size < 30KB)

If you want to join Osmania University for the 5-year law course after 12th through TS LAWCET,under the BC-D category a good score would be in the range of 80-90 out of 120 .though you could get admission with around 70-75 but 80+ is safer
