The Bar Council of India (BCI) is scheduled to conduct the All India Bar Examination (AIBE 20) on November 30, 2025. Law graduates who are planning to appear for the upcoming AIBE must know how many marks are required to pass AIBE 20 exam 2025. With the help of the previous year AIBE cutoff, candidates will get an idea about the competition level and set their target scores accordingly. To pass All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 20 exam, candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by BCI. The AIBE 20 passing percentage for the general/ OBC category is 45% and 40% for SC/ ST and disabled candidates. Those who have obtained more than the AIBE 20 passing marks will be declared successful and will be awarded a Certificate of Practice (COP).
The AIBE passing marks may be reduced in the AIBE 20 result due to the withdrawal of some questions. Last year, the passing marks for AIBE were revised due to the withdrawal of certain questions, but the passing percentage was unchanged. Candidates who score more than the AIBE 20 passing marks will be considered to have cleared the AIBE 20 exam. The Bar Council of India (BCI) publishes the AIBE cutoff marks on its official website just after declaring the result. The AIBE exam cutoffs are the minimum marks a candidate needs to clear the bar exam. The cutoff marks differ from one category to another, and those who secure the minimum marks as per the category will be considered to have passed in the AIBE 20 result. The AIBE minimum qualifying marks for the general/ OBC category are 45% and 40% for the SC/ ST/ disabled category. The AIBE is a qualifying exam where candidates who score above the AIBE cutoff marks are considered to have passed the exam. The passing marks in AIBE 20 are 45% for general/ OBC candidates and 40% for SC/ ST candidates.
