The Bar Council of India (BCI) conducted the AIBE 21 exam 2026 on June 7, 2026, for law graduates seeking the Certificate of Practice (CoP). Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories must secure at least 45% marks, while SC and ST candidates need a minimum of 40% marks to pass the examination. All candidates, irrespective of the number of candidates, who score above the AIBE 21 passing marks will be considered to have cleared the bar exam. Only those candidates who pass the AIBE 2026 exam will receive the AIBE 2026 CoP.

Candidates can use the AIBE 21 answer key 2026 to estimate their scores and compare them with the prescribed qualifying percentage. However, the final result will be prepared only on the basis of the AIBE 21 final answer key released by BCI.

If any candidate fails to meet the AIBE 2026 cutoff, they are considered to have failed the AIBE exam. As per the AIBE 21 eligibility criteria, there is no limit on the number of times a candidate can appear for AIBE. It means if a candidate fails the AIBE, they can apply and reappear for the next session.
