The Bar Council of India (BCI) is expected to announce the AIBE 21 OMR rechecking result 2026 soon on its official website, allindiabarexamination.com. The BCI has not yet specified the AIBE 21 rechecking results date. The council closed the AIBE 21 OMR rechecking portal 2026 on August 4, 2026 (5 PM). Candidates were required to pay a non-refundable rechecking fee of Rs 500 to get their OMR sheets rechecked. If any changes are found in qualifying status or marks, it will be communicated to the candidate's registered email ID. If there is no change, the existing result, declared on July 18, will remain valid. Candidates who qualify AIBE 21 can then proceed with obtaining the Certificate of Practice (CoP) process through their respective State Bar Councils.

BCI will process each AIBE 21 OMR rechecking request individually after the OMR rechecking application window closes. If any discrepancy is found, the revised result will be communicated directly to the candidate on their registered email ID. The council has not announced a separate date for the declaration of AIBE 21 rechecking results. Candidates whose results remain unchanged can consider their original AIBE 21 result, declared on July 18, as final.
The AIBE OMR rechecking process 2026 allows candidates to request verification of their evaluated OMR answer sheet. During this process, the BCI will verify whether the responses recorded in the OMR sheet have been correctly matched with the AIBE XXI final answer key and whether the marks have been calculated accurately. It is important to note that OMR rechecking is not the same as re-evaluation. The AIBE 21 final answer key released by the BCI cannot be challenged.
Candidates who suspect an error in OMR scanning, or those whose score using the final answer key does not match the result, can apply for rechecking. However, candidates whose result is marked as "Withheld" should first check the reason for the withheld status. In most cases, they need to submit pending documents, such as the State Bar Council enrolment certificate, through the AIBE portal. Such candidates should complete the document verification process instead of applying for rechecking.
