To know whether 3000 is a good rank in CLAT, candidates must know the marks that will translate into that rank. The CLAT marks vs rank analysis of last year show that to obtain a 3000 rank in CLAT, a candidate must score around 84+ marks. The approximate range for marks around the 3000 rank is given in the table below.
CLAT Marks (out of 120) | CLAT Rank |
85 - 84.25 marks | 2600 - 2800 rank |
84.25 - 83.75 marks | 2800 - 3000 rank |
83.75 - 83.25 marks | 3000 - 3200 rank |
83.25 - 83 marks | 3200 - 3400 rank |
The data above shows that the margins are very narrow, especially at the top. A difference of 0.5 marks can make a difference of more than 100 ranks. To be on the safer side, a good score in CLAT 2025 for a 3000 rank should be upwards of 85 marks.
