Expected Cut-Off for Top 10 NLUs: Factors at Play

The cut-off for top 10 national law schools in India in the Common Law Admission Test is invariably on the higher side. Given below are the factors that will influence how high the CLAT 2025 cut-off will go for these universities.

  • Difficult level of the exam: The SLAT 2025 exam analysis suggests an easier exam, which will take the top 10 NLU cut-off higher. The difficulty level of the exam is similar to trends seen last year.

  • Seat Intake: As per the CLAT UG seats matrix the top 10 NLUs together offer around 1600+ seats. A higher number of seats will lead to a lower CLAT cut-off.

  • Reservation Policy: The NLU cut-off for reserved categories is much lower. Even within the same category, candidates with domicile reservations get further relaxation in the cut-off. Thus, the CLAT 2025 reservation criteria will play a crucial role in determining the expected cut-off for top 10 national law schools.

Hello,

In CLAT , the 9-digit admit card number is not the same as the roll number you have to write on the OMR sheet. The OMR sheet has only 7 blocks because the CLAT roll number is shorter.

You should check your admit card again and look for the roll number printed near your name and exam details. Fill only that roll number in the OMR sheet. Do not write the 9-digit admit card number.

If you still cannot find the roll number, you can ask the exam invigilator on the exam day.

Hope it helps !
