Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will conduct TS LAWCET 2025 on June 06, in online mode. As the TS Inter results 2025 are out, many students will aim to secure admission to top law colleges in Telangana. Candidates can check the TS Inter results at tsbie.cgg.gov.in. Meanwhile, the top law colleges in Telangana will accept TS LAWCET 2025 scores. So, students need to check the TS LAWCET cutoffs for these law colleges. The past trends in TS LAWCET cutoffs 2025 will help them understand the competition and marks/rank they need to secure in the examination.
Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test is conducted for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses. The TS LAWCET 2025 cut-off will be available for the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes separately. The cutoff marks show the category-wise minimum rank that a candidate needs to obtain for admission to top law colleges. TS LAWCET 2025 cut-off trends for top law colleges depend on factors like the number of applicants, seat availability, exam difficulty, candidate’s performance, the merit rank of the applicant and the candidate’s category.
Difficulty level of the exam: The tougher the exam, the lower the TS LAWCET cut-off will be
Seat Availability: The number of seats available will impact the cut-off. The more seats, the lower the cut-off.
College Preference: The TS LAWCET 2025 cut-off of each college will differ depending on how many candidates prefer them during the TS LAWCET web option entry. The colleges which are highly preferred by candidates will have higher cut-offs.
TS LAWCET Qualifying Cut-Off 2025
The TS LAWCET 2025 qualifying cut-off is the minimum score required to be eligible for ranking and to participate in the counselling process for admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB programs in Telangana. According to the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), the qualifying cut-off is:
General and OBC Categories: Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories need to secure a minimum of 42 marks out of 120 marks (or 35% marks) to qualify in the TS LAWCET 2025 exam.
SC/ST Categories: There are no minimum qualifying marks required for SC/ST candidates.

Admission to Kakatiya University or its affiliated colleges will depend on category-wise cutoff,seat availability,and college preferences during counselling.
In previous years, candidates with ranks around 700–1000 in EWS have gotten admission into affiliated law colleges of Kakatiya University, though main campus seats are more competitive.
If you don’t get the main campus, go for a good affiliated law college under KU.

•The expected BCE cut-off for 5-year LLB at OU is around rank 100 or below,and your rank goes beyond that
Good Opportunity:
•However,for the 3-year LLB at OU,The BCE cut-off is around 280,so you do have a good chance there for 3 year course.
•You can also try for other government colleges like Kakatiya University or PG College of Law where BC-E cutoff are closer to your rank.
So, while your chances for the 5-year LLB program at OU are low,you have a good chance of getting into 3-year LLB there.

If you want to join Osmania University for the 5-year law course after 12th through TS LAWCET,under the BC-D category a good score would be in the range of 80-90 out of 120 .though you could get admission with around 70-75 but 80+ is safer for a better rank.
Usually top 200-500 gives you a good chance at Osmaina,one of the top law college in Telengana.
