Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the TS LAWCET 2024 application form on March 1. Eligible candidates can register for TS LAWCET exam online from its official website, lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The Osmania University will conduct the TS LAWCET 2024 on June 03, in online mode. The scores of TS LAWCET 2024 will be accepted by law colleges in Telangana for admissions to 5-year integrated LLB and 3-year LLB courses. The exam centres for TS LAWCET 2024 will be provided across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
TS LAWCET 2024 Exam- Overview
Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test, popularly known as TS LAWCET is a state-level law entrance examination conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad. The TS LAWCET exam is conducted for admissions to 5-year integrated LLB, and 3-year LLB courses offered by law colleges in Telangana. There are around 3,597 seats for the 3-year programme and approximately 1,580 seats for the 5-year integrated programmes. 5-year integrated LLB programmes include BA LLB, BBA LLB, and B.Com LLB.

Candidates who wish to appear for TS LAWCET 2024 exam must learn about the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities. Osmania University has released the TS LAWCET application form 2024 on March 1, 2024. The eligible candidates can apply online through the official portal - lawcet.tsche.ac.in. There is a common TS LAWCET application form for both UG and PG courses. Candidates will however have to give the course preference while filling out the application form.
The exam authority provides more than one deadline for TS LAWCET 2024 registration. Candidates can fill the TS LAWCET 2024 application form by April 15, 2024. After the first deadline, late fee is charged which increases after each deadline. The late fee starts at Rs. 500 and goes up to Rs. 4000 by the end of the last deadline, which is May 25, 2024.

Pay the application fee - The first step in the TS LAWCET application process is the payment of the application fee. Online payments can be made using: net banking, and credit or debit cards. Osmania University will release the preliminary TS LAWCET 2024 answer key around two-three days after the exam. TS LAWCET 2024 Qualifying Marks
There are certain minimum marks (or percentages) the candidate has to secure in the TS LAWCET 2024 to qualify/pass the exam. Such candidates who secure the minimum qualifying exam or more will be called for counselling and seat allotment, while the remaining candidates will be disqualified. TS LAWCET Merit List 2024
Soon after the declaration of results, admission officials prepare the TS LAWCET 2024 merit list using the marks scored by the candidate in the entrance exam. One fundamental reason for preparing the TS LAWCET merit list is to shortlist candidates for the counselling and seat allotment process. Depending on the number of seats available for various programmes, admission officials will make general and category-specific merit lists; and using these merit lists candidates will be invited for counselling.

Candidates with similar marks: How to decide the TS LAWCET merit rank
It may happen that two or more candidates may end up securing the same marks in the state-level exam. In such an event, the ranking of such candidates will be determined in the following way:
Tie-breaking procedure
- Candidate who has a higher score in Part A will be allotted a higher rank
- Next, marks of Part B will be considered
- If the tie remains, they may be bracketed together, but at the time of admission, the candidate senior in age will be given preference.
The admission conducting authority released the category-wise TS LAWCET cutoff 2024 for all the participating colleges during the counselling. Also, the TS LAWCET 2024 cutoff will be course-specific. The cutoff would indicate the last rank for which admission is given to a course for a particular category or institute.
