History of TS LAWCET
The candidates should note that before the official formation of Telangana, undergraduate law examination entrance for the state of Andhra Pradesh used to take place through a single exam called the LAWCET. Since 2014 however, the LAWCET Exam has also been split state-wise, with TS LAWCET being conducted for law aspirants of Telangana and AP LAWCET being conducted for Andhra Pradesh. Moreover, the last conducted exam LAWCET was held at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati in 2014. Since then, Kakatiya University, Warangal has been annually conducting the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test. But this year Osmania University, Hyderabad is conducting TS LAWCET 2018.

Candidates have been made available with the result of TS LAWCET 2018 Result on June 18, 2018. Candidates will be required to login by entering their hall ticket number, registration number and date of birth to check their TS LAWCET 2018 Result.
TS LAWCET Rank Card 2018
Candidates can now get the Rank card of TS LAWCET 2018 after the results of TS LAWCET are announced i.e June 18, 2018. Candidates need to enter their TS LAWCET Hall Ticket, registration number and date of birth to download their rank card. To be eligible for the TS LAWCET Rank Card, candidates will have to secure atleast 35% of the total marks in TS LAWCET 2018.
Candidates shortlisted as per the criteria laid down by the university will be called to attend Counselling of TS LAWCET 2018 as per the schedule that will be announced by the university. Candidates will be issued call letters which will mention the date, time and venue of TS LAWCET 2018 Counselling. Candidates need to visit the TS LAWCET Counselling venue along with required documents for verification and well on time.
The Answer Key of TS LAWCET 2018 is now available in online mode on May 29, 2018. If any candidate finds discrepancy in the TS LAWCET 2018 Answer Key, he/she can file and objection and rectify it. After the university rectifies the same, final answer key will be released by the first week of June 2018.
Applicants appearing in TS LAWCET 2018 were given access to the Admit Card of TS LAWCET 2018 on May 22, 2018. Candidates could download TS LAWCET Admit Card 2018 through their registered accounts. The law aspirants should also note that TS LAWCET 2018 Admit card was only issued to those who filled the Application Form of TS LAWCET 2018. Candidates were advised to take a print out of TS LAWCET 2018 Admit card for future references and also follow the instructions inscribed on it.
The candidates appearing in TS LAWCET 2018 were advised to read the Exam Pattern of TS LAWCET 2018. Candidates were tested on General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Events and Aptitude for Legal Studies. The paper would be of 120 marks and 120 questions were there in the examination. There was no negative marking for wrong answers.

Candidates who wish to appear in TS LAWCET 2018 were advised to read the Eligibility Criteria of TS LAWCET 2018 carefully. TS LAWCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria mentions that a candidate seeking admissions in the three year LBB programme should be a graduate from any recognised university with atleast 45% aggregate marks. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories must have secured atleast 40% aggregate marks in their qualifying degree. And the candidates seeking admission in the five year integrated programme, should have passed their 10+2 intermediate degree with atleast 40% aggregate marks.
Osmania University, Hyderabad released the Application Form of TS LAWCET 2018 on March 25, 2018. The law aspirants has been made available with TS LAWCET 2018 Application Form in online mode. Candidates were advised to apply for TS LAWCET before the last date of application that is May 23, 2018 which was earlier April 25, 2018.
