Amity University-Noida Law Admissions 2026
Among top 100 Universities Globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2026
The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will begin the TS LAWCET 2026 counselling registration tomorrow, on July 5, 2026, for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes. Eligible candidates can complete the registration process through the official counselling portal, lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. The TS LAWCET 2026 web options window will remain open from July 16 to July 19.
Candidates should follow a balanced approach while preparing their college preference list. The TS LAWCET web options 2026 should include dream, realistic and safe colleges to maximise the chances of securing admission. The preference order should reflect the colleges where candidates genuinely wish to study, as the counselling system allots the highest preferred college available according to the candidate's rank, category and seat availability. Once a higher preference is allotted, lower preferences are automatically ignored in that counselling round.

TS LAWCET 2026 Rank Range | Suggested Web Options Strategy |
Rank below 500 | Give priority to University College of Law (OU), University College of Law (Kakatiya University), Padala Rama Reddy Law College, Sultan-ul-Uloom Law College and other top Hyderabad colleges. |
Rank 500 - 2,000 | Include top colleges along with strong private colleges such as Keshav Memorial, Pendekanti, Mahatma Gandhi Law College, K.V. Ranga Reddy Law College and Aurora's Legal Service Academy. |
Rank 2,000 - 5,000 | Fill a large number of Hyderabad colleges along with colleges in Warangal, Karimnagar, Medak, Sangareddy and Nalgonda to maximise allotment chances. |
Rank above 5,000 | Fill every available college and programme. Participate in all counselling rounds, as many seats become available after upgradation and cancellation during later phases. |
Candidates should avoid selecting only a few popular colleges. Filling a larger number of web options increases the probability of seat allotment, particularly for candidates in the 2,000-5,000 rank range. Colleges with higher intake, such as Mahatma Gandhi Law College, Padala Rama Reddy Law College and Pendekanti Law College, generally witness better movement in closing ranks during subsequent TS LAWCET counselling rounds 2026.
Only candidates whose certificates are successfully verified will be eligible to exercise web options. The web options process involves the following steps:
Complete the online registration and certificate verification between July 5 and July 10, 2026, at lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in.
Log in to the TS LAWCET counselling portal using the hall ticket number and rank.
Access the web options window once the choice-filling portal officially opens on July 16, 2026.
Select colleges and courses (such as 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB) from the available law university list in the exact order of preference.
Save and lock the choices before the last date on July 19, 2026.
Use the web options edit facility, if required, on July 20, 2026.
Download and keep a copy of the final options submitted.
Candidates should note that Phase I is not the final opportunity. The TS LAWCET counselling is generally conducted in Phase I, Phase II, a Final Phase and, if required, a Spot Round to fill the remaining vacant seats. Candidates who are not allotted a seat, wish to upgrade their allotment, or could not participate earlier can take part in the subsequent counselling rounds as per the schedule notified by TGCHE.
