Before applying for DU LLB, candidates must read the DU LLB eligibility criteria 2020. The Delhi University has mentioned that only graduate candidates are eligible for DU LLB, and there is no age bar for appearing in DU LLB entrance exam.
Step - 1: Registration
DU LLB Application form will be made available in the admission portal of Delhi University. The first step of the application process is registration; candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to understand the registration process:
Open the official website, and click on post-graduation admission portal or you can also click on the registration link (will be provided here soon).
Click on ‘Register’, given at the right corner of the page
A new page with registration form will appear as shown below.
Fill your personal details and login credentials on the page. Once the registration form is properly filled, check that every section is filled correctly.
Tick the affirmation block after filling the details correctly. Now, click on register to receive a confirmation OTP in the registered email id and phone number.
Enter the confirmation OTP and fill the Captcha as shown in the pic above.
Step-2 Uploading of Documents and Photos
Candidates will need to upload essential documents as mentioned in the instructions. Candidates must keep the scanned copy of their following documents ready.
Maximum size - 50kb
A valid id proof
Should be self-attested Aadhar card / Voter Id / PAN card / Passport / Driving License
Class 10th certificate
As date of birth proof
Maximum size - 100kb
After registration, the candidate will log in using login credentials. The next step will be uploading of documents.
The candidates can upload the above-mentioned documents after logging in their profile.
After uploading the documents, candidates will need to fill the postal address and bank details
Click on ‘upload’. A new window will open with pre-filled details; check all these details to make sure that every section is filled correctly. Here, you can also update the documents uploaded by you.
Click on ‘Submit My Profile’; a new window will appear containing the declaration.
If you have filled all details correctly, click on ‘save my profile’. Remember after saving the profile no further corrections will be accepted.
Once you have saved your profile, a new window as shown below will appear.
Step - 3: Apply for DU LLB 2020
Candidates can apply for the programme only after completing the registration process
After submission, In the new window, the candidate can apply for DU LLB 2020 as shown in the picture below.
To start with, fill the academic qualification details, roll number and enrollment number as asked in the section.
Select the course/programme LLB and admission criteria; entrance test.
Select the eligibility criteria under which a candidate is applying for DU LLB
Select 3 exam centres of your choice.
Click on ‘Yes’ from the declaration box and save the application
A new window will appear, containing the declaration. Click on ‘submit’ only if all details are filled correctly, if not click on ‘dismiss’ and correct the details.
Once you submit it, the new window will appear showing the application details filled by you.
You can also modify the application form before fees payment.
Step - 4: Fees Payment
Fee Amount to be paid for registration of DU LLB 2020
The fees for DU LLB will vary as per the category of the candidate and fees once paid will be non-refundable.

Application Fee payment is the last step after submitting the online application form. Steps to be followed are given below.
Click on ‘Pay Fee’ option, an online payment gateway will open.
Pay by using Net Banking/ Debit Card/ credit card/UPI
After payment, take printout of payment receipt and save it for future use.
The online registration fee for DU LLB varies as per the category of the student. For SC/ST/PwD/EWS the registration fee is Rs. 300, while for other categories, the registration fee is 750. The candidate can make fee payment in online mode only. There will be options like Net Banking, Debit card payment, Credit card payment available in online mode.

No , it is not mandatory for you to be a graduate in law to be eligible for DU llb and actually to be eligible you for DU llb you just need a graduate degree in any stream from a recognized university with at least 50 % marks in your graduation while SC/ST category need to score at least 40% marks in their qualifying degree and OBC, PwD and CW need to score 45% in the qualifying degree , also there's no upper age limit to be eligible for DU LLB . So , even if you are not a graduate in law you are eligible for law without any doubt.

DU has 3 year LLB which you can undertake after you have completed graduation, with that being said, the admission in faculty of law is totally based on entrance exam conducted by DU and your 12th percentage don't play a part in it as long as you have scored a minimum of the passing marks in your 12th standard.
