The Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) is a state-level law entrance exam conducted by CEE Kerala. The law entrance exam is conducted for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes offered by 4 government law schools and several self-financed law schools in the state.
Candidates who will be appearing for KLEE 2026 must check the complete eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. If they fail to meet the eligibility criteria, their admission application will be rejected even after clearing the entrance exam. Candidates who have completed 10+2 in distance mode are also eligible to apply for the KLEE 5-year LLB
Students must make sure that their graduation university is recognised by the college or university the candidate desires to get admission in.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for KLEE 2026 must clear the entrance exam to secure admission to the desired law school.
There is no age limit for taking KLEE 2026 to get admitted for a 3-year LLB. However, a student must be 17 as of 31 December 2026 to get admission to a college for an integrated LLB course.

Submission of necessary documents is a vital part of the registration process for taking the entrance examination. Apart from education certificates and marksheets, there are two other occasions where the candidates have to submit documents to prove their eligibility: one is proof of Indian citizenship, and the other is the nativity of Kerala for reservation based on state origin. Below is the list of documents. Candidates can submit any one of the following.

Certificate from a village officer or competent authority

The KLEE 2026 will be conducted tentatively in the first week of June 2026. The application form will be released by CEE Kerala tentatively in the second week of May 2026. Candidates will have to fill out the form in online mode. They have to register on the official website of CEE to get login credentials. After KLEE 2026 registration, the students can fill out the application form. It is mandatory to pay the application fee to complete the registration, which can be paid online or in e-challan mode. The KLEE application form fee is Rs. 900 for candidates belonging to the General and SEBC categories, while those from the SC/ST categories are required to pay Rs. 450.

Based on previous KLEE cut-offs , getting admission in Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram with 162 marks under reservation might be difficult.
For the 3-year LLB course, last ranks for reserved categories were around:
SC: 515
ST: 1870
BH (Backward Hindu): 315
For the 5-year LLB course, last ranks were around:
SC: 969
ST: 2120
BH: 352
These ranks usually relate to higher marks than 162.
