LSAT India is no longer held. The exam has been scrapped by Pearson VUE this year. Admission to Jindal Global Law School will be held through the LNAT UK 2025 exam. Registration for LNAT UK 2025 are currently open. JGLS will accept LNAT exam for admission to 5-year integrated LLB courses. Whereas admission to the 3-year LLB, LLM and BA in Law courses offered by JGLS, Sonipat will be conducted through JSAT Law exam.

The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) does not prescribe any specific LSAT—India 2025 eligibility criteria. However, the candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the colleges participating in LSAT—India 2025. The eligibility criteria of LSAT—India 2025 include requirements about the educational qualifications, minimum passing marks, and age limit if any. The eligibility criteria of LSAT—India colleges are in line with the conditions prescribed by the Bar Council of India, which regulates legal education in the country.

Around 19 colleges at present accept scores in the LSAT—India 2025 for their law admissions. Other than educational qualifications and age limit, certain colleges may prescribe additional LSAT—India exam eligibility requirements that candidates will be required to fulfill. The LSAT—India colleges offer 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB and LLM programmes. Pearson Vue will conduct the Law School Admission Test —India in two phases in January and May on behalf of LSAC. The tables given below describe the course-wise eligibility for LSAT—India 2025. Through LSAT—India 2025, candidates will be admitted into 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM programmes.

LSAT—India Eligibility for 5-year LLB

A 5-year LLB law programme can be pursued if one has qualified 10+2 with the prescribed minimum marks. It is an integrated course that combines law subjects with subjects from arts, commerce, management, or science streams. In most cases, there is no age limit. However, candidates must check with the individual colleges in which they wish to apply. Candidates appearing for their class 12 exams are also eligible to apply provided that they submit their qualifying certificates at the time of admissions. The 5-year LLB programmes offered by LSAT—India colleges include BA LLB, B.Com LLB, and BBA LLB, among others.

LSAT—India Eligibility for 3-year LLB

A 3-year LLB programme is a law programme that is open to graduates of any stream. As the name suggests, it is a three-year law programme that consists of only law subjects, unlike the 5-year LLB which integrates two streams. Candidates must also obtain the minimum passing marks in their graduation as prescribed by the college. Generally there is no age limit for a 3-year LLB. Candidates appearing for their final year graduation exams are also eligible to apply provided that they submit their qualifying certificates at the time of admission.

LSAT—India Eligibility for LLM

An LLM is a post-graduate programme in law that is open to law graduates who have completed a 3-year LLB or a 5-year LLB from a recognised institute. Candidates who are in the final year of their law programme are also eligible to apply provided they complete their law degree with the minimum passing marks and submit their qualifying certificate at the time of admission.

Candidates who fulfil the LSAT—India 2025 eligibility criteria can fill up the LSAT—India application form 2025. Pearson Vue will open the LSAT—India 2025 registration tentatively in August 2025. Candidates will be able to submit the LSAT—India 2025 application form online on the official website - lsatindia.in. The applicants will be able to register for one or both of the phases of LSAT—India 2025. The LSAT—India 2025 registration fee is Rs 3999 for each session.
