MH CET 3 & 5-year LLB 2026 Institutional Round Counselling Explained - Dates, Eligibility, Application
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, will open the MH CET 5-year LLB 2026 institutional round registration from September 26, 2026, and for the 3-year LLB from September 27, 2026. New candidates can register for this round, or existing candidates can edit the application form. The MH CET LLB 2026 institutional round seat allotment will be conducted by individual law colleges to fill out the vacant seats. The CET Cell only releases the institute-wise merit list of candidates who have registered and filled out the college preferences. This is the final round of MH CET LLB counselling for the academic year 2026-27. Candidates who have not yet been allotted a college can expect the allotment in this round based on the vacancy.

MH CET LLB 2026 Institutional Round Counselling Eligibility
The CET Cell has specified the eligibility criteria for MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round counselling. Candidates must carefully check the eligibility before applying for the final round of counselling.
New registrations with a non-zero score in the MH CET LLB 2026 exam.
Candidates who registered for the previous rounds and have not yet been allotted a seat.
Admitted candidates who have successfully cancelled their allotted seat through the respective college login.
MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round Counselling Registration
Candidates who have not yet registered for the counselling session in previous rounds can register for the MH CET LLB 2026 Institutional Round on the official website. Those who have already participated in previous rounds may edit their MH CET Law 2026 CAP application form and update any document. Those who have locked/confirmed their MH CET Law 2026 CAP application can edit the application by unlocking it from the candidate’s login. They are required to click on the "unlock application form" link after logging into their accounts.
The MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round counselling application window for 5-year LLB opens on September 26, 2026 till September 28, 2026. The 3-year LLB application window is from September 27, 2026 to September 29, 2026.
MH CET Law 2026 Choice Filling for Institutional Round
All candidates are required to fill out fresh college choices for the institutional round. Those who have previously submitted their college preference list must submit another based on the MH CET LLB 2026 vacant seats. Candidates are required to provide at least 2 college choices for this round. There is no maximum limit on the number of college preferences to be submitted.

Log in to the registered account
Click on the Apply for Institutional Round tab
Select colleges by selecting university, college status, medium, and college type.
Click on the Add Selected Options button.
MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round Admission Process
The MH CET Law 2026 institutional round counselling is conducted by individual participating law colleges. The Cell will release the college-wise institute-level round merit list on its official website after the registrations are closed. Candidates will receive a separate link for MH CET Law 2026 institute-level seats. Colleges admit candidates based on the CET Cell’s generated institutional-level common merit list based on the vacant seats, eligibility, category, and candidature type. The participating law colleges will verify the selected candidates’ documents submitted during the application process. Those who are allotted a seat during the MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round are required to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 1,000.
