MH CET LLB 2026 Institutional Round Counselling Eligibility

The CET Cell has specified the eligibility criteria for MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round counselling. Candidates must carefully check the eligibility before applying for the final round of counselling.

• New registrations with a non-zero score in the MH CET LLB 2026 exam.

• Candidates who registered for the previous rounds and have not yet been allotted a seat.

• Admitted candidates who have successfully cancelled their allotted seat through the respective college login.

MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round Counselling Registration

Candidates who had not registered for the counselling process earlier could register for the MH CET LLB 2026 Institutional Round on the official website. Those who had already participated in previous rounds could edit their MH CET Law 2026 CAP application form and update documents, if required. Candidates who had locked or confirmed their CAP application could unlock it through their candidate login and edit the application.

The MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round counselling application window for 5-year LLB was from September 26 to September 28, 2026. The 3-year LLB application window was from September 27 to September 29, 2026.

MH CET Law 2026 Choice Filling for Institutional Round

All candidates are required to fill out fresh college choices for the institutional round. Those who have previously submitted their college preference list must submit another based on the MH CET LLB 2026 vacant seats. Candidates are required to provide at least 2 college choices for this round. There is no maximum limit on the number of college preferences to be submitted.

How to fill out Choice Filling for MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round

• Visit the official website of CET Cell.

• Log in to the registered account

• Click on the Apply for Institutional Round tab

• Select colleges by selecting university, college status, medium, and college type.

• Click on the Add Selected Options button.

MH CET Law 2026 Institutional Round Admission Process

The MH CET Law 2026 institutional round admission process is conducted by individual participating law colleges. Colleges generate the institutional-level common merit list through the CAP portal based on the available seats, candidate merit, eligibility, category and candidature type. Candidates can check their merit position in the respective college and seek admission as per the declared merit list.

For 5-year LLB, candidates included in the merit list can seek admission from October 1 to October 4, 2026. For 3-year LLB, admissions as per the merit list will be conducted from October 3 to October 6, 2026.

The participating law colleges will verify the candidates' documents before confirming admission. Candidates must pay the one-time seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000, if it has not been paid previously.

There will be no admission after the final cut-off date. The cut-off date is October 5, 2026 for 5-year LLB and October 7, 2026 for 3-year LLB.
