Edited By Sumeet Sudarshan | Updated on Jun 20, 2025 05:26 PM IST | #MHCET Law

The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has declared the MH CET 3-year LLB result 2025 on June 20, 2025. The LLB CET result has been declared in the form of a percentile score, which differs slightly from the percentage score and the actual score. The MH CET LLB percentile calculator becomes more complex because the CET Cell conducted the MH CET 3-year LLB 2025 across multiple sessions. Converting the raw scores into a percentile score ensures no candidate gains an undue advantage or disadvantage. In this article, let’s understand the MH CET LLB percentile calculator and learn how the candidate’s marks in MH CET Law 2025 will be converted into percentile scores.

What is a Percentile Score in MH CET 3-year LLB

Framework to Calculate MH LLB 3 Years Percentile Score

The CET Cell conducts the MH CET 3-year LLB across multiple sessions, which require the scores to be normalised to ensure fairness. The steps to arrive at the candidate’s overall percentile score are given below.

  • First, the highest score for each session is determined to be the 100th percentile for that session.

  • Next, the MH CET LLB percentile score for candidates in each session is separately calculated with reference to the highest score in that session

  • Finally, all the percentile scores are merged to calculate the overall MH CET LLB percentile scores.

  • The percentile scores are calculated upto 7 decimal places to minimise ties and avoid the bunching effect.

How to Check MH CET 3-year LLB Result 2025?

However, the scores have been adjusted and have been calculated out of the revised maximum marks of 120. This is due to the revision in the MH CET law exam pattern, where the number of questions and total marks have been reduced to 120 from the earlier 150. The cut-off percentile is given as per the data for 2024.
