The 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB LAWCET have a similar syllabus; a question paper, divided into 3 parts — general knowledge, mental ability, current affairs and aptitude to study law. The legal aptitude carries 50% weigthage (60 questions out of 120), and the remaining 60 questions will be divided equally between Part A and Part C. The difference lies in the difficulty level. The 5-year LLB question papers test elementary understanding at the Class 12th level, whereas the TS LAWCET 3-year LLB questions will have a graduate-level standard.
Part – A: General knowledge and mental ability (30 questions carrying 30 marks)
Part – B: Current affairs (30 questions carrying 30 marks)
Part – C: Aptitude for the study of Law (60 questions carrying 60 marks, including 10 comprehension-based questions)
Total number of questions - 120 (objective-type questions)
Duration - 90 minutes
Maximum marks - 120
