Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has notified the complete schedule for TS LAWCET 2025 on its website: lawcet.tgche.ac.in. TS LAWCET 2025 registration has already started on March 01, 2025. Interested candidates can apply for TG LAWCET 2025 without a late fee until April 15, 2025. The TS LAWCET 2025 application fee for OC & BCs is Rs. 900 and Rs.600 for SC/ST and PH. Osmania University Hyderabad will conduct TS LAWCET 2025 on June 6, 2025, in online mode. There will be two sessions for the TS LAWCET 2025 3-year LLB programme. The first session of the TS LAWCET three-year course will be from 09:30 AM to 11:00 AM and the second session will be from 12:30 PM to 02:00 PM, while the five-year TS LAWCET will be from 04:00 PM to 05:30 PM.
Through the Telangana Law Common Entrance Test candidates will gain admission into 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes of over 30 participating colleges in Telangana. Read the article to know about the latest updates, exam dates and key announcements.

TGCHE releases the TS LAWCET 2025 eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. The eligibility criteria of TS LAWCET 2025 include the educational qualification, passing marks required and age limit. The detailed eligibility criteria are mentioned in the table below:
3-year LL.B Course: Passed any graduate degree (10+2+3 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks for the general category, 42% for the OBC category and 40% for SC/ ST from a recognised university. There is no age restriction for the candidates seeking admission into LL.B courses.
5-year LL.B Course: Passed 10+2 with 45% of aggregate marks for the general category, 42% for the OBC category and 40% for SC/ ST for or any other exam recognised as equivalent by the university. No age restriction for appearing in the exam.
Important Note:
Candidates appearing for the 10+2 exam or graduation final year exam can also take the TS LAWCET 2025 to apply for the 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes. However, they must submit the qualifying certificate at the time of admission.
Candidates are eligible to apply for the 3-year LLB if they must secure the same percentage or more on the aggregate in any post-graduation or B.Ed.
Candidates securing a percentage of 44.5% and above (for General), 41.5% or above (OBC) and 39.5% and above (SC/ST) in graduation will be considered as 45%,42% and 40% of aggregate marks for admission into 3-year LL.B course.
Candidates who obtained their degree directly through Open University without having any basic qualifications in a 3-year LLB are not eligible to apply.

TGHE released the TS LAWCET 2025 syllabus for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes. The TS LAWCET 3-year LLB 2025 syllabus is the same as the TS LAWCET 5-year LLB 2025 syllabus. The difference between the two will be in the difficulty level of the TS LAWCET question paper. The standard of difficulty for 5-year LLB will be intermediate level/ 10+2 and for 3-year LLB, the difficulty level will be of degree or graduation level. The TS LAWCET syllabus 2025 includes three sections: General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law. The questions in TS LAWCET 2025 will be objective type including multiple choice questions, and matching items.

Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) released the TS LAWCET 2025 exam pattern on its official website. The TS LAWCET 2025 question paper consists of three parts with a total of 120 MCQ-based questions. The maximum mark in TS LAWCET 2025 is 120. The is no negative marking in the exam. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. From the Aptitude for the Study of Law section, out of 60 questions, a total of 10 questions will be based on or related to the comprehension of legal passages.
