What is a Good Score in AILET 2026?
AILET 2026 was conducted on December 14, 2025. The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has released the AILET 2026 provisional answer key on the same day. The objection window is now open till 12:00 PM, December 16, 2025. Candidates who have any concerns can submit them on the official website. The AILET 2026 results will be declared two to three days after the exam day. Candidates must be aware of the good score in AILET 2026. Based on last year’s results, Saher Gole was the topper, and Shreya Patil and Ranvit Bahirwan secured AIR 2 and AIR 3, respectively. AILET 2026 Marking Scheme

The correct answer is given 1 mark, and 0.25 marks are deducted for a wrong answer. There are no deductions for unanswered questions. NLU Delhi follows a tie breaker in case two or more candidates score the same marks. The candidate with more marks in the logical reasoning section will be ranked higher. If the scores are still the same, then the senior candidate will be ranked higher. The last solution to break the tie is to draw computerised lots.
What is a Good Score in AILET 2026?
A good score in AILET exam is expected to be above 120. Canndites can easily get a seat with this score. Based on the previous year’s data, the closing rank for the general category was 65. The equivalent AILET marks for this rank are around 119 - 121. A good score depends on the difficulty level of the exam. Considering that the cut-off has ranged between 71 to 100 in the last three years, students should try to achieve 119 marks or above to increase their chances of getting admission.

AILET PG question is exclusively multiple choice questions or MCQ based . You do not need to write any paragraph based questions. The exam will have 100 MCQs, each worth one mark, covering various branches of law. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answers.

hey, Having a CLAT rank of 21,000 and an SC category rank of approximately 1,000, you may get a good chance by applying to NLUs in which SC category seats remain unfilled. At this rank extend, there are routinely open positions at state NLUs or more current NLUs with reserved seats SC candidates. Focus on appying to NLUs such as NLU Jodhpur, NLU Odisha or NLU Tamil Nadu, which occasionally have vacancies in saved categories.
