    The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has officially announced the schedule for the AP LAWCET 2026. This entrance examination is the primary gateway for admission into three-year LLB and five-year integrated LLB programmes offered by state universities and their affiliated colleges. The council has confirmed that the computer-based test (CBT) will be held on May 4, 2026. The online registration window is set to open on February 12, 2026. This year, the exam will be conducted by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV), Tirupati, on behalf of APSCHE.

    The AP LAWCET evaluates candidates across general knowledge, current affairs, and legal aptitude through a 120-question objective format. The exam will be conducted in a single day for both the 3-year and 5-year LLB courses. To participate, candidates must complete the online application process, which includes a mandatory registration fee of Rs 900 for General (OC), Rs 850 for BC, and Rs 800 for SC/ST applicants.

    Step-by-Step Guide to the AP LAWCET 2026 Application Process

    The AP LAWCET 2026 registration is an online process conducted via the official APSCHE website. Candidates must follow these steps to fill out the AP LAWCET application form for the academic year 2026-27:

    • Visit the APSCHE official portal, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and complete the "Fee Payment" first. Candidates must provide basic details and their qualifying exam hall ticket number.

    • After the transaction, use the "Know Your Payment Status" link to secure the Payment Reference ID.

    • Log in using the Reference ID and Date of Birth to access the main application. Enter the candidate's academic history, personal details, and category information.

    • Choose the preferred regional exam centres from the available list in order of priority.

    • Attach the photograph and signature according to the specified file size limits.

    • Use the "Preview" button to check for factual errors. Once click "Submit," the data is frozen until the correction window opens.

    • Download and print the submitted application form for use during the entrance exam and counselling.

    AP LAWCET 2026 Application: Documents Required

    Candidates should have the following documents ready before starting the AP LAWCET online application 2026:

    • The registration number of class 10+2 or a graduation degree.

    • Candidates' class 10th marksheet or an equivalent official certificate.

    • Mark sheets and study records from class 6 onwards to establish "Local Area" status.

    • A valid Aadhaar card and a residence certificate if the candidate did not study in a formal AP institution.

    • Digital copies of caste and income certificates (for SC/ST/BC or fee reimbursement seekers).

    • A recent passport-size photo (under 50 KB) and a signature (under 30 KB) in JPG/JPEG format.
