Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will publish the AP LAWCET 2025 merit list in online mode. The AP LAWCET merit list 2025 will be available on the official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in after the declaration of AP LAWCET results. In the merit list, candidates are ranked in the order of marks obtained in the AP LAWCET 2025 results. Only those candidates who are included in the merit list of AP LAWCET 2025 will be eligible to participate in AP LAWCET 2025 counselling and obtain AP LAWCET seat allotment in law programmes.
Candidates from the general and OBC categories must score at least 35% in AP LAWCET 2025 to be included in the AP LAWCET rank list and be eligible to participate in AP LAWCET counselling. There are no minimum marks required for SC/ ST candidates. In AP PGLCET, the minimum qualifying mark for the general and OBC categories is 25%.
Acharya Nagarjuna University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will conduct the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test tentatively in the second week of June 2025, in online mode. AP LAWCET 2025 results will be declared as per the AP LAWCET final answer key. The candidate’s rank in the AP LAWCET 2025 merit list will be valid for admission in the academic year 2025-26 only.

Candidates can check their ranks in the AP LAWCET 2025 merit list by following the steps given below. It must be noted that a candidate’s rank in the merit list of AP LAWCET 2025 will be valid only for the academic year 2025-26.

In case there is a tie between two or more candidates in terms of the marks obtained in the exam, the following tie-breaker rule will be applied to prepare the AP LAWCET 2025 merit list.
Candidates having more marks in Part C of the AP LAWCET 2025 question paper will be ranked higher.
If the tie persists, the candidate with more marks in Part B will be ranked higher.
If the tie still remains unresolved, then age seniority will be considered and the older candidate will be assigned a higher rank.
APSCHE will notify the AP LAWCET 2025 counselling schedule in online mode. All the candidates who have scored more than the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Candidates will be able to gain admission into 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes through the AP LAWCET counselling 2025. The total seat intake of AP LAWCET college is 5398 seats for 3-year LLB, 2532 seats for 5-year LLB and 372 LLM seats.

The minimum qualifying marks in AP LAWCET 2025 will be 35% for candidates from general and OBC categories. There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.

With 2403 rank in AP LAWCET and being from the BCB category, you have a good chance of getting admission in a decent private law college. In the previous year, students with similar ranks got seats in colleges like Velagapudi Durgamba Siddhartha Law College.
Your rank is within the usual cutoff range for BCB category, so you should be able to get a seat in counselling. Just make sure to fill your choices carefully during the counselling process.

These colleges are known to accept students with ranks up to around 900 in the open category, depending on seat availability and category-wise distribution during counselling rounds.

Keep a close watch on seat allotment updates across rounds, as many good colleges tend to have vacancies in the later phases.
