    The Bihar Public Services Commission has published the Bihar Judiciary syllabus 2026 through its official website, bpsc.gov.in. The Bihar Judiciary recruitment has three phases of shortlisting: Preliminary exam, Mains exam, and Interview. One out of three candidates appearing in the Preliminary examination will qualify for the Mains exam. The Bihar Judiciary syllabus for the Preliminary examination comprises topics like general knowledge, elementary general science, law of evidence & procedure, Hindu law and Muhammadan law, etc. On the other hand, the Bihar Judiciary Mains syllabus comprises 5 compulsory subjects and three optional subjects.     The Bihar Judiciary syllabus 2026 is divided into two parts - Preliminary and Mains syllabus. The Bihar Judiciary Preliminary exam syllabus 2026 is easier than the Mains exam. Also, the Bihar Judiciary Prelims syllabus 2026 is less diverse and detailed compared to the Mains exam.     Bihar Judiciary Preliminary Exam Syllabus 2026

    The Bihar Judiciary Prelims syllabus 2026 is divided into two papers - Paper I General Studies and Paper II Law. A total of 8 subjects are divided into these two subjects.     The Bihar Judiciary Mains syllabus 2026 comprises many detailed topics and sub-topics. The Bihar Judiciary Mains exam syllabus 2026 has been divided into two parts - compulsory and optional subjects. Candidates will be required to take five mandatory subjects including General Hindi, General English, General Knowledge (incl. current affairs), Elementary General Science and Law of Evidence & Procedure.     Bihar Judiciary Exam Pattern 2026

    The Bihar Judiciary Prelims and Mains, both exams are conducted in offline mode. Paper 1 of the Bihar Judiciary Prelims exam 2026 has a duration of 1.5 hours, while Paper 2 has to be completed in 2 hours. Meanwhile, the Bihar Judiciary Mains exam duration is 3 hours each.
