The Consortium of National Law Universities will publish the first CLAT 2025 cut-off on December 26, 2024 on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The WBNUJS Kolkata 2025 expected cut-off will depend on many factors such as the number of candidates appearing in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, reservation and seat availability. The WBNUJS Kolkata CLAT cut-off will be available through the merit for each round of admission. Candidates who have a rank above the CLAT 2025 cut-off for WBNUJS Kolkata will be eligible to get admission to that university. There will be five rounds of CLAT 2025 counselling for admissions into WBNUJS Kolkata. Through the Common Law Admission Test, candidates are admitted into the law programmes of WBNUJS Kolkata.
Number of candidates appearing in the exam: The more candidates appear for CLAT 2025, the higher the competition will be and the cutoff will be high.
Difficulty level of CLAT 2025: The WBNUJS Kolkata 2025 expected cut-off will have an inverse relationship with the difficulty level of the exam. The more difficult the CLAT exam, the lower will be the WBNUJS Kolkata CLAT cut-off and vice versa.
Seats offered by the WBNUJS Kolkata: The higher the number of CLAT seats offered by WBNUJS Kolkata, the more will be the number of students admitted. More seats at WBNUJS Kolkata can lead to a decrease in the WBNUJS Kolkata CLAT cut-off score of the last candidate admitted.
Reservation policy: The category-wise WBNUJS Kolkata CLAT cut-off 2025 will be impacted by the reservation policy. Some NLUs also have domicile reservations as per the CLAT 2025 reservation criteria where seats are reserved for candidates who belong to the state.

Currently, CLAT is conducted in various cities across India, but as of now, there are no official test centers outside India, including in the UAE. Students residing abroad typically need to travel to India to appear for the exam. However, rules and centers may change in future, so I suggest keeping an eye on the official CLAT Consortium website, especially when the 2026 notification is released. If traveling to India is challenging, you can plan your trip in advance around the exam date. Also, for NRI or NRI-sponsored seats in Indian law colleges, some universities may have a different selection process that doesn’t require CLAT, so you can explore those options too.
Thank you,

Hello,
For CLAT PG 2026, if you aim for top NLUs like NALSAR, NLSIU and WBNUJS, a score of around 75+ marks (rank within 100 ) is generally good for the general category
Cut-offs change every year, so try to score as high as possible for a better chance.
Hope it helps !
Hello Aspirant,
No, you cannot use EWS certificate issued to your father in your name. In CLAT, EWS certificate is to be issued in the name of a candidate on the basis of family income and assets even if you are a minor. Since you are under 18, the certificate will still have your details but it will take your family income (with your father) into consideration. You will need to apply for your own EWS certificate through the local authority pre counselling.
