The Consortium of NLUs will release the CLAT 2026 set-wise provisional answer key on its official website on December 10, 2025, at 5:00 pm. The consortium has provided an objection window of 48 hours this time. The objection submission portal will open along with the CLAT 2026 answer key, and will close on December 12, 2025, at 5 pm. Candidates can raise objections regarding the questions or the provisional answer key may do so through the CLAT 2026 portal. Additionally, Careers360 has released an unofficial answer key to help candidates evaluate their performance.
CLAT 2026 does not have a fixed passing marks criterion; admission to National Law Universities is based on the candidate’s rank in the merit list, which depends on their exam score, the number of applicants, seat availability, and category. The official cut-off marks and merit list will be released after evaluation, determining the scores required to secure admission.
The Correction window allows students to verify their responses against official answers and raise objections if they find any discrepancies. If any objections are found to be valid after review by a panel of experts, the necessary changes will be incorporated into the final answer key. The final answer key will be released in the third week of December 2025, typically 1-2 weeks after the exam. The CLAT 2026 exam was conducted on December 7, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM across India.

Download provisional or final answer key PDF for your exact set (A, B, C, D) from consortiumofnlus.ac.in after CLAT candidate login.
Note the responses from the OMR sheet and compare every 120 questions across five sections, one by one, with the answer key.
Each correct response adds +1 mark and deducts 0.25 marks per wrong. Unattempted questions get 0 marks.
Apply formula: Total score = (Correct × 1) - (Wrong × 0.25). Example: 95 correct, 20 wrong, 5 unattempted = 95 - 5 = 90 marks.
Students can raise objections after the provisional key release, from December 10, 2025 to December 12, 2025. Here is how to do it:
Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in and click on the CLAT 2026 login link.
Enter the application number and date of birth to access the dashboard.

Enter the question number, provide the suggested correct answer along with a brief explanation, and upload supporting proof.
Finally, pay the objection fee of Rs 1000 online and submit the objection before the deadline.
The Consortium of National Law Universities releases the CLAT 2026 final answer key after reviewing all valid objections to the provisional key. The CLAT 2026 final answer key is expected to be released in the third week of December 2025, around December 9-10. This final answer key corrects all errors and withdraws any disputed questions. Students can download it from the official website using their login credentials.
CLAT 2026 results will be declared tentatively in the third week of December 2025, shortly after the final answer key is released. Candidates can access their scorecards by logging in with their application number and date of birth.
