Once the CUET PG LLB 2026 result is out, students must participate in the admission process of their chosen universities. NTA does not conduct CUET LLB 2026 centralised counselling. Every university conducts its own selection process based on the NTA scorecards. The following are the steps:
Release of CUET LLB 2026 scorecard: NTA publishes the CUET PG results. Candidates must download and save their scorecards.
Registration on university portals: Candidates must apply separately on the official websites of their preferred universities (e.g., DU’s CSAS PG portal or BHU’s CAP portal).
Filling university preferences: During registration, candidates must provide a list of their preferred law centres or colleges. For instance, DU applicants must rank the Campus Law Centre (CLC), Law Centre-I (LC-I), and Law Centre-II (LC-II) based on their priority.
Document verification: Shortlisted students are required to present original documents for scrutiny. This includes the CUET PG LLB 2026 scorecard, graduation mark sheets, character certificates, and valid category certificates (OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST) where applicable.
Seat allotment rounds: Universities will release multiple allotment lists. Seats are granted based on the student’s All India Rank, category, and the availability of seats in the preferred college.
Fee payment: A seat is considered "locked" only after the candidate accepts the allocation and pays the admission fee within the specified deadline.
