The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CUET UG dates 2024 soon on its official website. The law aspirants who wish to appear for CUET UG will have to choose the general test instead of legal studies this year. The CUET BA LLB registration 2025 is expected to begin in the last week of February 2025. Students can check the CUET dates and the latest updates about the exam below in this article.
The NTA CUET will be conducted in online mode, with a revamped exam pattern for law aspirants. Some of the prominent central universities accepting CUET for BA LLB/BBA LLB include Banaras Hindu University, Allahabad University, and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. Apart from these, several private and state universities will be accepting the NTA CUET 2025 scores for law admissions.

The UGC has proposed several changes to the CUET UG. One of the significant changes is dropping legal studies subjects from the examination. Instead, the law admissions will now be conducted based on the General Test. This General Test will be renamed to General Aptitude, in addition to some changes to its pattern.
The duration of CUET BA LLB (General Aptitude) will be 60 minutes. All questions will be mandatory, meaning there will be no room for optional questions.
The CUET BA LLB — General Aptitude is likely to include the following subjects -
General Knowledge, Current Affairs,
General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability
Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts — arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics
Logical and Analytical Reasoning
The NTA CUET exam dates are May 14 to May 25, in online mode.
