The High Court of Madhya Pradesh conducts the MP Judiciary Civil Services exam for the position of Civil Judge, Junior Division. The syllabus of Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services exam 2026 includes topics asked during the online preliminary and mains exams. There are three stages to qualify for the final selection: the online preliminary exam, mains exam, and the interview. The preliminary exam is a multiple-choice question screening test that shortlists candidates for the mains exam. The syllabus for the MP Judiciary 2026 Mains exam varies for each of the four papers. Candidates can take the exams either in Hindi or English language but they must select one language for all exams.

Candidates who have scored the minimum qualifying marks in the mains exam will be eligible to appear for the interview. Three times the total number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the interview. The MP Judicial Services exam interview carries 50 marks. Each candidate requires at least 45% of the total marks to qualify. The final score will be calculated based on the MP Judicial Services main exam and interview scores.
In case of any ties, HC Madhya Pradesh will give preference to the candidate who has scored higher in the interview. If the tie persists, then the elder candidate will be given preference.
