The National Law University Meghalaya has released the merit list for domicile and non-domicile candidates. The third merit list for non-domicile candidtes has been released. NLU Meghalaya is now part of the Consortium of National Law Universities and will be included in the centralised counselling process from next year. However, it has accepted CLAT 2026 scores for the 2026-2027 admission cycle for non-domicile candidtes. For the domicile candidates, the MEG UAT and MEG PAT 2026 exam was conducted on May 23, 2026. Students can download the merit list of NLU Meghalaya from the official website - nlumeg.ac.in. Students listed in the NLU Meghalaya merit list 2026 will receive a confirmation letter for NLU Meghalaya admission on their registered email ID, containing detailed instructions for completing the fee payment process.

NLU Meghalaya now participates in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) framework. The university continues to offer BA LLB, BS LLB, and BBA LLB for undergraduate admissions and LLM specialisations in Corporate Law and Criminal Law. Click on the Notice Board section on the website.
Select the desired programme-level NLU Meghalaya 2026 merit list (based on CLAT 2026).
Click on the NLU Meghalaya merit list PDF link.
Download and save the PDF for future reference.
Candidates will be shortlisted for admission into NLU Meghalaya law programmes based on the following conditions:
Mandatory qualifying exam: Admission to all Undergraduate (BA LLB, BBA LLB, & BS LLB) and Postgraduate (LLM) programmes is strictly based on CLAT 2026 ranks for non-domicile candidates. For domicile candidates, the university conducted the MEG UAT and PAT exam.
Transitional arrangement: For the academic year 2026-27, admissions are conducted through a University-managed admission process using CLAT scores, rather than the Consortium’s centralised counselling portal.
Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in CLAT 2026. Shortlisted candidates will receive instructions regarding document verification through SMS and their registered email ID.
Merit list: The list of selected candidates in the NLU Meghalaya 2026 merit list will be based on the CLAT 2026 rank and exam scores.
The university will release the final NLU Meghalaya 2026 merit list on its website. The merit list consists of the name, application ID, and gender of the shortlisted candidates.
