The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, is going to conduct the MH CET Law 2027 entrance exam for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB, likely in the first week of April 2027. The official notification is expected to be released in the third week of November 2026. The MH CET Law exam includes sections such as Legal aptitude and legal reasoning, GK and current affairs, Logical and analytical reasoning, and English. The CET Cell revised the MH CET Law exam pattern by reducing the number of questions from 150 to 120. The CET scores are accepted by around 150 law colleges in Maharashtra.

The CET Cell specifies the MH CET Law eligibility criteria for both the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes. Candidates must meet the educational qualifications and minimum qualifying marks to be eligible. There is no age limit for either programme.

The CET Cell is expected to release the MH CET Law application form in the second week of January 2027. The application forms are released separately for the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes on the official website. Candidates are required to complete the online registration, fill in the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee before the specified deadline. The CET Cell also opened MH CET Law 2027 application correction window after the registration process closes. Candidates can make changes in the submitted application forms if required.

The MH CET Law 2027 syllabus is detailed in the official information brochure on the official website. The MH CET Law exam pattern differs for the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB exams. Both exams are conducted in online mode and consist of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 120 marks. The number of questions in each section differs.

The MH CET Law 2027 admit card will be issued separately for the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes on the official website. The hall tickets are issued only in online mode through the candidate login portal. It is important to download and take a printout of the hall ticket, as it is a mandatory document to enter the exam centre. The CET Cell may also release a city intimation slip before issuing the admit card.

The CET Cell will release the MH CET Law answer key after the exam is conducted. The authorities release the provisional answer key first. Candidates can verify their responses and calculate their expected scores. The authorities will then open an MH CET Law objection-raising window wherein candidates can raise any discrepancy in the answer key. The final answer key will be released after verifying all the objections raised.
The MH CET Law results are declared separately for 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. The results are prepared on the basis of the final answer key. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their scorecards from the official website. The MH CET Law 2027 scorecard will include details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, parent’s name, application ID, roll number, category, marks obtained in the exam, and the overall rank.
The CET Cell conducts the MH CET Law Centralised Admission Process (CAP) after the results are declared. There are multiple rounds of counselling, and the authorities will release the MH CET Law merit list before each round. Candidates who have scored a non-zero score are required to register for the CAP online before the specified deadline. They must also submit the required documents for verification. After the documents are verified, shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a college preference list online. The MH CET Law 2027 seat allotment will be done based on the candidate's score and preference list.
The MH CET Law cut-off is the minimum marks required to be eligible for admission in a particular participating institute.
