Admission Alert: Law Programs at Jindal Global Law School
The university will conduct AILET 2025 in offline mode at designated exam centres across the country. Through the AILET 2025 exam, candidates would be admitted into 5-year BA LLB programme of the university. The exam is held once a year. Shortlisted candidates would be invited to participate in the AILET 2025 counselling and admission process to obtain seat allotment. The university offers 110 seats for admission into its BA LLB programme through AILET 2025.
All India Law Entrance Test, popularly known as AILET is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by NLU, Delhi for admission into its 5-year integrated BA LLB , LLM and PhD programmes. Candidates may note here that NLU Delhi is the only national law university along with NLU Meghalaya that are not part of CLAT 2025 . All the remaining 24 NLUs accept CLAT scores for admission into their UG and PG law programmes.
The university had recently revised the AILET exam pattern last year to make the exam more student friendly. The time duration of AILET BA LLB 2025 will be 120 minutes. AILET 2025 will have three sections - English, current affairs and general knowledge, and logical reasoning. Changes have also been made to the the AILET PG exam. AILET LLM 2025. NLU Delhi offers 120 seats in the BA LLB (Hons.) programme. Out of this, 110 seats will be filled through AILET 2025. For the LLM programme, the university offers 80 seats, out of which 70 seats will be offered through the AILET 2025. Candidates can check the details of seat matrix below.

Aspiring candidates looking to appear for NLU Delhi’s AILET 2025 must meet the eligibility norms as prescribed by the university. The AILET eligibility criteria 2025 pertains to educational qualification, minimum passing marks and age limit. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria of AILET 2025 will not be considered for admission to law programmes at NLU Delhi even if they clear the exam. NLU Delhi will open the AILET 2025 application form tentatively in August 2024. Interested candidates would be able to register online by visiting the official website- nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Before filling up the AILET 2025 application form, candidates must make sure they fulfil the AILET 2025 eligibility criteria prescribed by the university.
To complete the application process of AILET 2025 candidates would be required to pay the registration fee of Rs. 3050 for the general category and Rs. 1050 for SC/ST candidates. The BPL candidates belonging to SC and ST categories would be exempted from the application fees for AILET 2025.
The application form for AILET 2025 could be submitted by following the steps given below -
Step 1: Online registration - Candidates need to visit the official website of NLU Delhi - nludelhi.ac.in. Then, click on 'Register to Apply Now' where they need to create a signup or login account by providing details such as name, email id, create password, date of birth, mobile number and contact address.
Step 2: Select the law course - As the AILET 2025 exam is conducted for undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in law, candidates should first select the course in the application form - BA LLB, LLM or PhD After the selection of the course candidates should click on 'Apply Now" to move in the next step.
Step 3: Fill out the application form - Candidates after successfully creating the AILET 2025 login account should fill the particulars given below:

For the LLM programme, the revised AILET syllabus 2025 will consist of an objective section with 100 MCQ covering different areas of law. The descriptive section has been removed in the revised AILET LLM pattern. The duration of the exam has been increased to 120 minutes.It would be a paper for 150 marks with 0.25 marks being deducted for every wrong answer.

There are a total of 150 questions in each paper. And, each question carries one mark, while following the official AILET exam pattern 2025, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

NLU Delhi will issue the AILET 2025 admit card in online mode tentatively two weeks before the exam. The AILET admit card 2025 would be available for download from the official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates who have successfully registered for AILET 2025 could download their admit card of AILET 2025 from the official portal by logging in with their credentials.
The AILET admit card is a mandatory document for appearing in the examination. The AILET admit card will mention details like candidate's roll number, application number, exam centre, exam reporting time and instructions. Candidates should download and take a printout copy of the AILET admit card and bring it to the designated AILET exam centre on the exam day.
NLU Delhi does not send any physical copies of the AILET admit card to candidates. It is availalbe only in online mode.

Candidates must reach the exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the exam.
Candidates will not be permitted inside the exam hall after 15 minutes from the start of the test.
Candidates cannot carry electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, digital watches, calculators, earphones to the exam hall that. However, analog watches are allowed inside the hall.

NLU, Delhi will publish AILET 2025 answer key a day after the exam on its official website. The AILET 2025 answer key would be provisional in nature. Candidates would be given the opportunity to submit their objections. After considering all the objections, the university would release the final answer key of AILET 2025. Candidates would be required to pay the required fee to submit the objections. In case the objections raised by the candidates are found to be valid, the university will refund the objection fee.

AILET 2025 exam analysis would be available after the conclusion of the exam. In a bid to make the exam more student friendly, NLU Delhi had revised the exam pattern last year.
As per the revised AILET exam pattern, the exam duration has been increased from 90 minutes to 120 minutes which gives additional time to students. As per the experts and students, unlike other years AILET question paper was very lengthy, similar to CLAT question paper . The difficulty level of the question paper ranged from moderate to difficult. But, almost all other sections were included including the legal aptitude section. The legal aptitude-related questions were included in the logical reasoning.

Given below is a detailed section wise analysis of AILET 2024.
This section, consisting of 50 questions carrying 50 marks, was of moderate compared to last year. The questions were from grammar and language, contributing to a balanced assessment.
The GK and current affairs section was moderately difficult. As per experts, the paper leaned heavily towards current affairs, with some static questions in between. There were many questions on economy, testing students' understanding of important concepts. The mix of static and current questions was similar to the pattern observed in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
It was the most difficult section in the paper. There were legal-oriented principal-fact-based questions, which were not seen in the previous two years. Critical reasoning had long, statement-based inquiries, along with assumptions and inference. The analytical reasoning (AR) section had syllogisms and coding-decoding questions. It was bit lengthy as well.
National Law University, Delhi will declare the AILET 2025 two-three days after the exam. The result of AILET 2025 would be declared on the official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The result would be declared as per the AILET 2025 provisional answer key after considering all the valid objections. During the AILET result 2025, the university would publish the AILET 2025 merit list and wait list along with their category and ranks.
NLU Delhi also publishes detailed exam statistics regarding the number of candidates appeared and category wise bifurcation at the time of publication of AILET result.

NLU Delhi will release consolidated AILET 2025 merit list for both BA LLB and LLM programmes, along with the result. Candidates can download the AILET merit list in pdf format which will include the name and All India Rank (AIR) of the candidates shortlisted for admission.
If two or more candidates have secured the same marks, their ranking will be determined based on the tie breaker rule given below
Candidate with higher marks in the logical reasoning section gets a higher rank
If the tie remains, then the senior candidate gets a higher rank
If the tie is still unresolved, then computerized lots will be drawn to determine the candidate's rank.

The university will publish the AILET 2025 cut off on its official website. The AILET 2025 cut off would be published for each round of AILET 2025 counselling. The cut off for AILET 2025 can be obtained from the AILET merit list which displays the ranks of the selected candidates after every round of counselling. The AILET cut off is expressed as the rank of the last candidate selected from a particular category in a particular round.
Candidates who do not meet the AILET cut off 2025 in a particular round would be wait listed and be eligible for selection in the subsequent round. However, if the candidate misses the final round cut off rank, he/she will effectively be out of the admission process. Those who clear AILET cut-off and obtain seat allotment will have to accept the seat and complete the admission formalities by paying the course fee.

Mode of Counselling: Offline
NLU Delhi will conduct the AILET 2025 counselling after publication of the AILET result. Candidates would be required to first register for counselling process by paying the required AILET 2025 counselling registration fee. After closure of the counselling registration window, NLU Delhi will publish the merit list and conduct seat allotment. The AILET 2025 counselling process will be based on the scores of the candidates in the entrance exam.
Step 1: Check AILET invite list 2025 - The university first releases the list of shortlisted candidates for AILET 2025 counselling after the declaration of results. Candidates three times more than the available seats will be invited for AILET counselling 2025. Only those candidates who will receive the invitation will be eligible to appear in the counselling.
Step 2: AILET 2025 counselling registration - Invited candidates will have to login to the admission portal using their registration number or application number as well as date of birth. They will also have to pay the counselling fee and upload the necessary documents and print the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
Step 3: Provisional admission list for AILET 2025 - The university will release the course-wise first provisional admission list after the verification of the documents submitted by the eligible candidates along with the waiting list.
Step 4: Admission fee payment - The candidates who are shortlisted will have to pay the counselling fees and the pay the remaining admission fees within the deadline.

Hello Grishma, you can definitely clear both if you would work really hard for it. AILET exam is something that is getting tougher and tougher wach time. But it doesn't mean that we can't crack it! Just proper amount of time and toil will get us the amazing results. Though both CLAT and AILET are law exams but their strategy for preparation is a bit different.
