The National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) has announced the last date to apply for AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) 2026 for Indian nationals. Aspiring law students aiming to secure admission to NLU Delhi’s prestigious undergraduate and postgraduate programmes must complete their application process by Monday, November 10, 2025. The entrance exam is scheduled on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM across multiple cities. Candidates are advised to complete their forms well before the AILET 2026 registration last date to avoid last-minute issues.
The registration process for AILET 2026 commenced on August 7, 2025, and is currently open. Candidates can complete their online applications on the official portals (nationallawuniversitydelhi.in and nludelhi.ac.in).
Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO applicants have a later deadline of April 30, 2026, for their applications, with exemption from appearing in AILET only if they meet the prescribed criteria.

The AILET registration last date 2026 for Indian nationals applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by NLU Delhi. The detailed AILET 2026 eligibility criteria are given below:
Undergraduate programme: BA LLB (Hons)
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed senior secondary (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks (42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST category). Students appearing for their 12th standard board exams in 2026 are also eligible to apply.
Total seats: 110 on AILET merit plus 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO candidates, who are exempted from AILET but must have at least 65% marks in the qualifying exam.
Postgraduate programme: LLM (one year, non-residential)
Eligibility: Candidates must possess an LLB degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities). Final year LLB students appearing in the 2025 exams can also apply.
Total seats: 70 on AILET merit plus 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO, who are exempt from AILET 2026.

AILET 2026 will be conducted across several cities, including Ahmedabad, Asansol, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and many more. If the number of candidates at any test city falls below 100, that centre will be closed, and candidates will be assigned their second or third preferred test city.
