KLEE 2026: Notification, Exam Date, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus & Patter
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, will release the KLEE 2026 notification tentatively in the month of April 2026. The notification will be available on its official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. The KLEE 2026 exam will be held in June 2026, in online mode. The application form for KLEE 2026 will be available soon after the notification is released, in early May 2026. The KLEE registration fee is Rs. 850 for the general category and Rs. 425 for SC/ST students.
The KLEE 2026 exam consists of 200 MCQs and carries a total of 600 marks, with a duration of 120 minutes. The Kerala Law Entrance Exam is conducted for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses offered by law colleges in Kerala. KLEE 2026 Exam Dates

The KLEE 2026 eligibility criteria cover requirements concerning educational qualifications, minimum marks, and age limit. However, there is a slight difference in the criteria for the two courses. Based on the previous year’s trend, CEE Kerala will tentatively open the KLEE 2026 application form window in the first week of May 2026 on its official website. KLEE 2026 Syllabus

Candidates must be well aware of the KLEE exam pattern for 2026. The KLEE paper pattern 2026 will provide important details about the exam, such as the type of questions, total number of questions, exam marks distribution, mode of exam, duration, etc. The exam pattern for KLEE LLB contains 120 questions, where each question carries 3 marks. There is also a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

KLEE 2026 Admit Card
CEE Kerala will issue the KLEE admit card tentatively in the last week of May 2026. Candidates who completed their registration before the deadline could visit the KLEE official website and download the admit card through the candidate login. The KLEE hall ticket 2026 is a mandatory document and must be carried to the exam hall. The admit card of KLEE will contain important details, such as the test centre address, exam date, reporting time and candidate’s details.
Guidelines to Follow on KLEE 2026 Exam Day
Candidates appearing at the exam centres on the test day must comply with all the guidelines mentioned below:
Students must report to the exam centre at the time mentioned on the admit card
Upon reporting at the exam centre, candidates will be issued an access card with the username and password to attempt the test, and their seat number will be mentioned.
Candidates must carry a copy of the KLEE 2026 admit card, without which they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Electronic devices and gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches and calculators are prohibited inside the exam hall.
Candidates have to attempt a small familiarisation mock test before the start of the actual exam.
After the end of the mock test, candidates will be automatically directed to the main test screen with a timer on the top right side of the screen.
During the exam, candidates will be provided with a sheet to carry out rough work. The sheet must be returned to the invigilator after the exam.
Candidates will not be permitted to leave the exam before the end of the exam.

KLEE 2026 Answer Key
The KLEE answer key will be published around 10 days after the exam date. Candidates must visit the official website and click on the “answer key” option on the portal. Candidates can use the answer key to evaluate their performance in the exam. Students will also have the opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answer key. The objection fee is Rs. 200 per question for the 5-year LLB and Rs. 100 per question for 3-year LLB programme. After considering valid objections, the authorities will release the KLEE 2026 final answer key.
KLEE 2026 Result
The authorities will declare the KLEE result 2026 in online mode through the official website.
Candidates will be able to download the results for KLEE through the candidate login in online mode. The result of KLEE 2026 will be published in the form of a rank list. The list contains details such as the application number, roll number, score and rank of the candidate. Candidates from the general and OBC categories must score a minimum of 10% marks to qualify for KLEE 2026. Candidates from the SC and ST category must obtain a minimum of 5% marks to qualify in KLEE 2026.
KLEE 2026 Counselling
CEE Kerala will notify the KLEE counselling schedule on its official portal for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB. The KLEE 2026 counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds as per the rank list prepared based on the score obtained in KLEE 2026. Only those candidates who obtain a score above the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible for counselling. Candidates will be allotted the seats based on their ranks and college preferences given by them. Shortlisted candidates must report to the allotted college before the specified timeline for document verification and to complete the entire admission process.
KLEE 2026 Cut-Off
CEE Kerala will release the KLEE cut-off 2026 for two phases on its official website. The KLEE 2026 cutoff is the minimum rank that must be secured by the candidates to gain admission to the offered law courses. Students who clear the KLEE cut-off of a specific institute will be considered for admission. Some of the popular law colleges in Kerala are GLC Thrissur, Sree Narayana Guru College of Legal Studies, Kollam, and GLC Ernakulam.
