    14 New Affiliate Colleges Join CLAT 2027: Check Complete List

    The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has added 14 new affiliate law colleges. The total number of affiliate colleges so far is 24. The consortium signs MoUs with affiliate law colleges and universities to use the scores of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admissions. COER University, Roorkee, D Y Patil International University, and Jain Deemed-to-be University are some of the newest additions. Note that the CLAT 2027 affiliated law colleges do not participate in the centralised counselling process conducted by the consortium. Candidates will be required to directly apply to the affiliated colleges using CLAT 2027 scorecards.

    The consortium will conduct the CLAT 2027 on December 6, 2026, at designated exam centres. CLAT 2027 is a national-level entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. The CLAT scores are accepted at 26 NLUs, IIULER, and affiliated colleges.

    Expected Affiliated Law Colleges for CLAT 2027

    The consortium approved approximately 60 affiliated law colleges for CLAT last year. Many more colleges are expected to be added. Several private law schools, including Aurobindo Institute of Law, Indore, BITS Law School, Mumbai, Galgotias University, Noida, Amity University, Noida, IAMR Law College, Ghaziabad, IILM University, Gurgaon, and others, accept CLAT scores for law admissions and are expected to be approved by the consortium.
