The notification issued by BCI seeks to allay the candidates' fears regarding a mismatch between the question paper booklet number and the OMR answer sheet number in the All India Bar Examination. The clarification issued by BCI states that the AIBE result will be evaluated based on the AIBE 19 question paper set code, which the candidates filled in writing on the OMR sheet. No, a person cannot practice law in India without passing the All-India Bar Examination (AIBE). After completing an LLB degree from a recognized university, a law graduate must enroll with a State Bar Council and must clear the AIBE exam conducted by the Bar Council of India. Only after passing the exam, the advocate receives a Certificate of Practice , which allows him or her to practice law in any court in India.

So, without clearing AIBE, one cannot legally appear or argue in court.

Tip - Prepare well and be a successful lawyer.
