AIBE 20 Dress Code 2025 for Male and Female Candidates
The Bar Council of India will conduct AIBE 20 on November 30, 2025, in offline mode at centres across the country. Candidates appearing for the AIBE 20 exam should strictly follow the AIBE 20 (XX) exam dress code prescribed by the authorities. The AIBE XX exam dress code includes aspects of the candidate’s clothing, footwear, and accessories worn by the candidates during the AIBE 20 (XX) 2025. The authorities also released a list of prohibited items that are not allowed inside the AIBE 20 (XX) exam centre. Failure to adhere to the dress code of AIBE 20 can lead to the disqualification of the candidate. As per the AIBE XX eligibility criteria, final-year law graduates and candidates without state bar council enrolment are also allowed to appear for AIBE 20 (XX) 2025. Candidates who clear the All India Bar Examination will be awarded a Certificate of Practice (CoP). The CoP is a mandatory document to practise law in India and represent clients in a court of law.
AIBE 20 (XX) Exam Dress Code Guidelines
Candidates can find important instructions about the AIBE exam dress code 2025 printed on the AIBE 20 admit card. BCI had issued the admit card on November 15, 2025. Given below are the details.
Clothing Guidelines for AIBE 20 (XX) 2025
Candidates must wear appropriate attire, preferably formal or semi-formal clothing such as shirts and trousers, or a saree.
Fancy and extravagant clothing should be avoided.
Candidates must opt for clothing that is convenient for them and allows them to sit comfortably through the exam.
Avoid wearing any headgear or scarves unless it is for a religious purpose
Heavy clothing, such as jackets and sweaters, should be avoided for security reasons.
Weather-appropriate clothing is allowed.
AIBE 20 Guidelines for Footwear and Accessories
Wear closed-toed footwear or formal shoes.
Although allowed, sandals and slippers should be avoided for comfort and security reasons.
Electronic watches are not allowed inside the exam hall.
Candidates should avoid wearing excessive jewellery during the exam.

Given below are the important AIBE 20 exam instructions that candidates must follow on the exam day:
Candidates must arrive at the AIBE 20 exam centre at the prescribed reporting time.
Candidates must carry a printout of the AIBE 19 card to the exam hall, without which they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.
They must also carry valid ID proof such as voter ID, Aadhar card or a passport to the examination centre.
AIBE is not an open-book exam. However, candidates are allowed to carry copies of bare acts without notes to the exam hall.
Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets and smartwatches are not allowed inside the exam hall.
Only a blue/ black ballpoint pen must be used to mark the answers in the OMR sheet.
Candidates with 50% or more disability are allowed an extra 20 minutes per hour to attempt the exam.
When is AIBE 20 (XX) 2025?
The Bar Council of India is scheduled to conduct the All India Bar Examination (AIBE XX) on November 30, 2025, in offline mode. The AIBE 20 exam timing is from 1 pm to 4 pm. Candidates can begin entering the exam hall at 11:30 am and must have their admit card and a valid ID for verification.

The AIBE(All India Bar Examination) is conducted only for law graduate students to get a certificate for Practice to practice law in court in India. This exam is conducted in offline mode, including 100 multiple-choice questions and has no negative marking. Students need to score at least 45 out of 100 questions and 40 for SC/ST candidates.
The registration for this exam has officially closed for the 2025 exam session.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have cleared a 3-year or 5-year LLB from a BCI-recognised university.
- Final year students are also eligible for this exam.
- Candidates must carry the Bare Act without notes.
