The Bar Council of India (BCI) publishes the AIBE 21 exam day guidelines on its website. The guidelines detail the code of conduct during the exam, items to carry, what to avoid, and more important information. Candidates must be aware of the AIBE 21 exam day guidelines to avoid last-minute hassles. One of the most important items to carry on exam day is the AIBE 21 admit card. The hall ticket will permit entry into the exam hall. It also details the exam day guidelines. Candidates can also carry the Bare Acts inside the exam hall even though the exam is no longer an open-book examination. BCI will conduct the AIBE XXI 2026 exam on June 7, 2026.
Candidates must carefully read the instructions before the exam day. Those who violate the AIBE exam day rules will be debarred from the exam.
It is advisable to check the location of the designated exam centre prior to the exam day.
Candidates must reach the AIBE XXI exam centre at least 1.5 hours before the exam time.
It is mandatory to carry the AIBE 21 hall ticket.
Candidates must carry a valid photo ID
Candidates must cooperate in the security check at the entry gate of the exam centre
Make sure not to bring prohibited items such as mobile phones, laptops, smart watches, calculators, or electronic gadgets
Candidates can only carry the Bare Acts (without notes and comments) inside the exam hall
Only use a Blue or Black Ball Point pen to attempt the exam
Do not indulge in unfair practises or else candidates will be disqualified
Ensure that the hall ticket number is correctly mentioned on the OMR and question sheet.
Candidates can leave the exam hall after the exam is concluded.
Candidates can follow the list of important items to be carried on the day of the exam.
AIBE XXI (21) 2026 admit card

A passport-size photograph
Bare Acts without notes or comments
Black or blue pens
A non-digital wristwatch
A transparent water bottle
Candidates should avoid carrying the following items on AIBE XXI exam day to avoid getting debarred. If any candidate is found with a prohibited item, he or she will be debarred from the exam.

Exam notes
Mobile phones
Calculator
Smartwatch
Any other electronic devices
BCI has not yet announced the AIBE 21 reporting time on its official website. Registered candidates can check the exam timings specified on the AIBE 21 admit card. Last year, the exam timing was 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least 1.5 hours before the commencement of the exam. Based on last year's timings, candidates must reach the exam centre by 11:30 AM. Note that candidates are not permitted to enter the exam hall once the exam centre gates are closed.
