The Bar Council of India (BCI) successfully conducted the AIBE 21 exam 2026 on June 7 for law graduates seeking the Certificate of Practice (CoP). The All India Bar Examination (AIBE XXI) was held in offline mode from 1 PM to 4 PM at exam centres across more than 60 cities in India. The AIBE 21 unofficial answer key 2026 is expected to be published shortly.
The answer key will help candidates estimate their scores and assess their chances of meeting the AIBE 21 2026 passing marks. Excellent curriculum; an impressive range of electives, besides core law courses. Up to 100% merit scholarship on a first-come, first-served basis
The AIBE is a qualifying examination and does not follow a rank-based admission process. Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by BCI will be declared successful and awarded the CoP. Candidates should note that the effective qualifying marks can change if any questions are withdrawn from the final answer key, as happened in previous AIBE sessions.
BCI has not specified a particular AIBE 21 dress code, but candidates must maintain basic exam decorum. Formals or smart casuals are the safest choice. The detailed AIBE 21 dress code has been given below:
Category | Dos | Don'ts |
Clothing | Simple formals or smart casuals | Clothes with printed text or symbols |
Sleeves | Roll up full sleeves at the gate | Wide-cuffed sleeves that conceal items |
Watch | Simple analogue watch | Smartwatch or digital watch |
Jewellery | Minimal, lightweight pieces | Heavy chains, bangles, metal accessories |
Accessories | Carry permitted items in hand only | Bags, handbags, or pouches inside the hall |
General | Dress decently, maintain decorum | Anything that could distract fellow candidates |
Candidates must note that only clean, unannotated bare acts are permitted inside the hall. Highlights, handwritten notes, or commentary will get their copy confiscated at the gate. In AIBE 21 bare acts, candidates can carry key statutes like Constitution of India, BNS/IPC, BNSS/CrPC, BSA/Evidence Act, CPC, Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, and Negotiable Instruments Act.
Candidates must bring a printout of the AIBE 21 admit card, a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, or Driving Licence), and a blue or black ballpoint pen. Mobile phones, bags, and electronic devices are strictly prohibited. The AIBE 21 answer key 2026 is expected in mid-June on allindiabarexamination.com, followed by results in July 2026.
